Very good observation. Looks like this family just want to play chess and carom all day! :)

I bet it's Shravan and Ramnath that are the chess addicts. The Lalaji family are not as smart as them. Accept for Pushkar that is.

Sorry to say but Kamini's behavior indicates that them living as a joint family is not working out! She is so greedy and jealous, I think it would have been better if they lived apart. That way she can play her mind games with her own family instead of trying screw over Shravan and his Dad!

Anyway, good you pointed out the chess paraphernalia to us!

I've been a chess queen in my college... so my eyes caught them at every moment and I even thought the chess board on the table is too pretty... I once started calculating the game on the wallpaper behind the dining table instead of watching the scene... I din't think that these many of you din't observe those...

So I wanna add another prop, I just love the racing car (yellow) which is set up as a show piece on Shravan's room wall... I love that it isn't just a wallpaper...

Nice observation. what a intriguing way to decorate the house with the mind game. This unleash Malhotra is totally into it. They begin with chess and then reach to caroom.
