Before getting to the ShraMan scene, I want to talk about the Tiwaris. Because, once I get started with ShraMan, I will not be able to concentrate.
I felt so bad for Nanu and Sumo. Sumo's Mami is such a 🤬. I agree with Vandy. Mami is so down-market. She is insensitive, narrow-minded and greedy.😡 Look, I understand where she is coming from. Every parent wants their children to prosper and to make that happen, money is necessary. What irked me was that she was being so sanctimonious.😡 She talks about how she expected to become a queen in her sasooral but instead became equivalent to a servant. Really! 🤢She is one to talk.😡 I wonder how she excuses herself for treating Suman like a second-class citizen in Sumo's own grandfather's house.🤢 Doesn't she (Mami) treat Suman like a servant too? 😡And yes, she is right about a parent wanting great and expensive things for their children. But, make it happen with your own money. Why are you hellbent on destroying a house, which is so precious to Nanu?! 😡
Moreover, the house belongs to Nanu. He made the house with his own income. Yes, if he wishes to give the house to his sons, he can do that. But, that's his decision. He doesn't want to sell the house and being the eldest member of the family, his wish should be honored by the rest of the family.
Did you see the way Shravan (the moment he entered the Tiwari house) was looking at Mami? He was so angry with her and almost disgusted how she was trying to act as if nothing was wrong. Like she hadn't just been to Khosla's to strike a deal with the devil. I am sure I was wearing the same expression. I was pretty disgusted with Mami too. Acting all sweet and good, but a person with a black heart. 😡
Suman looked so sad. 😭And seeing his ladaku Sumo on her knees and insisting Mami not to sell the house, Shravan looked heartbroken. I was so sad for Sumo when she says that: "Jaanti hoon, mera iss ghar pe koi haq nahin...", it was tragic. 😭Shravan looked about to cry.
And Nanu, it was difficult to see him so defeated. My heart cried out for him.
Okay that my frustration with the Tiwaris are out of the way, let's talk ShraMan scenes:
The first scene was when Sumo and Shravan are driving to Khosla's. They are both tensed. Sumo is being all "Jaldi karo...jaldi karo". Shravan as usual is calm and cool.😎
Shravan: Relax Sumo.
Sumo: What relax?
For some reason I found that exchange funny😆. I can't believe amidst all the tension, I found myself smirking at that small exchange. Something is wrong with me. Shravan is so calm and cool. Why? Why? Why? It makes me fall in love with him more and more. ❤️
ShraMan make a perfect team. He is so calm and cool. She is hyper.❤️ I think they balance each other out.
Moving on, we get a "Chalo" scene again. I love the "Chalo"s between Shravan and Suman. Right when Sumo is about to threaten Khosla "Agar tumne-", Shravan stops her like it's useless and he grabs her hand 😳(I think it's established, Shravan never misses an opportunity to catch her hand😆) and says: "Chalo". Why is one word "Chalo" so powerful when Shravan says it? I swear the word "Chalo" is as beautiful as "I love you", IMO. I was swooning.😳
When Mami is being insensitive to Sumo and Sumo's dead mother, Shravan keeps making sure that Sumo is alright. Kitni fikr karta hai Sumo ki!
OMG! I loved the scene when Sumo marches to Shravan, grabs his arm in front of everyone. She tells Mami, "Aapko mujhpar bharosa nahi hai. Par Shravan pe toh hai na. Woh humein zaroor jitayega". Shravan looked astonished on how much she trusts him. Love the gentle look he gives her.
Then my favourite scene of the episode. ShraMan in Sumo's room. Sumo is crying pathetically. Shravan tries to console her. ❤️I love the way he knelt down on his knees beside her. He even stays when she forcefully tells him "Jaao" and pushes him rather hard. He stumbles backward but never leaves. 😳
Sumo says Sorry and Shravan's expression is like you don't need to say sorry. When disheartened Sumo says "Ab kuch nahin ho sakta"; "Tum bhi kuch nahin kar sakte"; "Nanu ne hi haar maan li"; "Ab iss ghar ko bikne so koi nahin rok sakta", I felt so sad for her. Nikita was great with her expressions.👏 It really looked as if Sumo's heart was breaking. And my heart was aching for her.
Heck, she is so focused on her pain, that no amount of cajoling on Shravan's part seems to break her away from her grief. At last, Shravan shakes her "Suno meri baat" and forcefully turns her around to face him. I love the passion in his eyes. This concern and protective attitude towards her shone through again. I wanted him to hug her. But, well...jitna bhi mila kaafi hai, I suppose.
I really liked Shravan's simple yet powerful dialogues to Sumo:
"Mujhe pe bharosa hai?"
"Main tumhe haar ne nahi doonga".
It was so beautiful. He is so supportive of her. They are indeed, Ek Duje Ke Vaaste. Shravan and Sumo complete each other.❤️ They are similar in the core where it really matters. And weirdly, they are also different from each other in some ways, which really works, because they make up for each other's deficiencies. (For example, Shravan calm attitude as opposed to Suman's hotheadedness in a crisis). They complement and complete each other and the similarities between them leads to better mutual understanding. Only volatile element in their relationship is pride, but that can be overcome.
I really did like the episode. It was filled with angst. But I really love the interactions between Shravan and Suman and Nanu.😊
Talkative Mami, Silent Mama; and other insensitive Tiwaris got on my nerves, though.😡🤬
Precap: So, it was Ramnath's advice that led Shravan to pay off Khosla. It was a sound advice: "Accha vakeel wohi hota hai joh court mein case jeetta hai. Lekin bada vakeel woh jo case ko court mein jaane hi na de". Alas, Sumo won't appreciate it.
PS: I am staying away from most spoilers. I only know 2 spoilers: Shravan paying 6Cr. to Khosla and Guglu in love with Sumo🤢😆. So, excited to know where this will all lead to.
