Hey! What a wonderful post. You have expressed everything in the post what possibly everybody couldn't decipher seeing the scene. I have seen through most of the part you have written and had similar emotions but alas I don't have the same ability as you to express my feelings in such amazing words. Wish I had.

But I would love to definitely read your posts. Thanks for taking us through this amazing ride on ShraMan and please keep writing on ShraMan.

..Just one or two points that struck me.

1. Shravan in all his confusion has still not realised that he has refused Nanaji too...Not just Suman. Though I will excuse it as his eagerness to leave everything behind...it forms an excellent excuse for Sumo's outburst.

Yep! Totally agree! Shravan is totally consumed by what he has come to believe his right...he has made up his mind...about Sumo...her wrongdoing...both then and now! Hence, he will see only what he wishes to see...in the process blurring everything around...Nanaji included!

2. In that sense, I see it as she took it for granted that he had spent the night with his friends...while she was up, hunting a solution for her problem. And now he shows up at 2 am, so casually, as if he had to come to enquire about Nanaji...because etiquette demanded so.

Ok! Now that's a new one! And completely plausible! Trust Chicks to see something uniquely different...

My take here is slightly on a tangent...don't think Sumo really believed that Shravan was out with his friends OR that he had really come to meet Nanaji...the unearthly wee hours of the morning probably only strengthened her belief! She could probably see through Shravan...that he was there for a different reason...but, she felt that his ego, as always, had come in between...hence, Sumo, with her new found wisdom just let things be...until the floodgates burst! The poignancy of Shravan's vulnerability and Sumo's ability to sense it, was how I perceived it...either way, was pure MAGIC!

3. All the more reason for Suman to stubbornly refuse his request...It seems to be all about HIm, unfortunately still.

That soulful connection between ShraMan was transient...

As expected, there was no way on earth that Sumo was not going to misunderstand Shravan!😆

Especially, in the light of what had transpired less than 24 hours ago

She obviously thought he was on an ego trip

How could she possibly have thought otherwise?

He was going to London, so he couldn't help her in spite of her grandfather's request.

He was up till 2 am with his friends. so he had to show up at this hour for a 'courtesy' visit.

He did not like it that his name was linked with a lesser known advocate, so he came up with a name more acceptable to him (which he should have suggested in the first place, at least for nanji's sake.).

On the whole, it appears to Suman that this is all about HIM for Mr. Shravan Malhotra.

So I absolutely loved that 'dikhava' dialogue from her side...though she couldn't have been far from the truth.

Sumo is so straightforward when it comes to Shravan now. He has trained her to believe 'WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET'..when in reality there is so much more to what SHE SEES.😉
