you can count me too sadistic. It's not fair to always male lead is wrong and show female lead is a saint and make her change arrogant jerk male leads. Like the FL have no job to do in the show only making ML is a nice person.

That is being realistic, not sadistic. The point they raised in the other thread is valis though, Shravan's struggles are not to be overlooked in order to victimize Suman, because let's face it, Shravan has suffered more.

And Indian TV do have a way of victimizing the FL- no parents, has a debt on her head etc.

WORD to everything you said. All this discussion is making me a little sad..because yeah I came in to this show with low expectations, but now since I've become such a fan, subconsciously expectations have come in.

This whole debacle actually raises a very interesting question.

Do you believe in reverse sexism?

Admittedly, females do undergo discrimination and all that, I am not belittling that, as a female, it would be stupid of me to do so.

I am merely focusing on the prejudices men go through. Indian dramas have been said to be favoring the patriarchal society what with the manhandling heros and all. But the sufferings the Male leads goes through is always overlooked because it is the weaker sex of the society that the audiences sympathize with. Again, not saying females are the weaker sex, just pointing out the general thinking.
