It gives him the right to insult her in public? He can ignore her, not want to keep any relationship with her, hate her guts- all that is perfectly justified..But what he did today was plain psychotic 😆 I mean he is actually avenging something which happened 10 years back..When they were teens 😆 A lot of us are immature at school yet once we grow up, we tend to mature and move on..Even if you cannot forgive, you don go about planning revenge and public humiliation..The fact that he put in so much effort to take revenge- inviting her bestie, booing her tickets etc. just to prove a point is scary to say the lease..He behaved like a love sick puppy in the past..He should have blasted her..Instead he let her walk all over him and now 10 years later, he is avenging it..Wow😆 Being insulted, called an opportunist, gold digger etc. in front of your whole school, your best friends etc. can be pretty scarring..They might go on to become besties or even marry each other in future but not sure how such effed up behavior is justifiable 😆

Yes I agree with you. It happened during their teenage years, where they were all immature. Also not everyone goes for revenge this way, but SOME DO. Especially when you turn from a geek to a stud, comes it with an inflated sense of ego, superiority & the need to get back at whoever looked down on you. What he did is scarring & his act was wrong. I don't at all support such behaviour. But given the context, I think what he did wasn't unexpected. It was in some way justified from his POV. Again objectively, it was wrong.

I am gonna copy paste my reply to another person here. This show is actually tackling a very sensitive issue that is often ignored. Scars from our childhood often haunt us all our lives, either in the form of psychological issues or they sting our heart all our lives. And sadly a lot of time, all this is ignored in the name of 'he or she is just a kid'. Yes, just a kid, but then kids are also perceptive. They are growing, learning more about the world & making their own conclusions based on things they see. Shravan was hurt by his mother & by Suman. It was never addressed & that's why he's turned out so messed up, unlike Suman who also had no parents when growing up, but at least she had her nanaji. Shravan was sent away to study in London, all alone. He had no one to talk to him, to guide him out of this pain. And so it kept growing to the point that now its almost as much a part of him as blood is a part of our system & body.

Now he's back, all successful & his lawyer brain tells him that its time to get over this hurt & the way is by revenge - an eye for an eye. But soon he'll realise (and that is also the point of the show) that 'an eye for an eye will only make the world blind & that is no solution. These two need to sit down, talk about whatever that happened, share & that's the first step to healing & either having a new beginning or moving on.

He definitely needs to grow up. I completely agree with you there. Suman will never forgive him & I hope she doesn't. Now she will actually move on, but he won't be able to & there he'll regret his actions.
Its time for some fun. Shravan really needs to suffer for what he did to her in public.

It came full circle, really. I hate public humiliations but this one was done really well without going overboard like you said. She needed to know how badly she hurt him. I wish he refrained from calling her a gold digger though, but oh well anyone who goes from not hot to super hot would obviously see himself as some hot product everyone wants..and her behaviour to him suddenly changed from the one who used to push him away to running after him. Clearly he became delusional & thought she wanted him for who he's become & for his money. Now she'll move on, but boy this is where his troubles are going to start. BECAUSE HE CANNOT MOVE ON, like you said.

Some really lovely discussions in this thread! WORD about teenage scars needing to be addressed and also his were never addressed. And also about how Suman brought this upon herself, not because of what she did 10 years ago but because in her ego, she didn't give him a chance to explain & hurt his ego. THIS IS ONE HELL OF A CIRCLE😆😆

Sumo was guilty and repentant. Had she went ahead and spoken Shravan or tried contacting him and talking to him, he would have probably forgiven her.

It takes time and a lot efforts to heal wounds, especially the ones that are so deep rooted. Sumo realized that what she did was wrong. But she never really understood the impact it had on Shravan. She was ignorant and stupid when she was young. But now she is a matured and independent woman who can understand her actions and its consequences.

That being said, I don't think tit for tat is the best solution for problems. A public showdown was taking it a notch higher I felt. The younger sumo was ignorant but shravan knew that it would hurt her and yet he went through with it. He may have done it to make her realize what he went through 10 years ago. But his methods were not justified.

I hope they talk about it and start a fresh. They are both adults who are aware of their mistakes. This Sumo is a lot different from her younger version. She is not the same person. Shravan needs to see this. Now that she knows how he felt and what pushed him to carry out the revenge drama, she needs to give him and their friendship another chance. Friendships are not about appearances or ego. It requires lots of work from both the parties involved to keep it going.

Yup vindictive is the exact word that I was looking for. .. As kids I have encountered other kids who make it a point to go for tout for tat. . But those are the types that I usually tend to avoid. They can be pretty unpredictable. .. They say one thing at ur face and something else behind ur back.

Even if S2 is right in what he did. .. Sumo now would avoid him like the plague. .. As there is no way she would know when he might pull the carpet. .. Revenge yes.. but trust is a big NO.

Personally if we were in Sumo's shoes none of us would want S2 for a friend after this fiasco.

He basically confessed his love to her & told her that he wants to be with her hamesha, whatever college she goes to & wherever she goes. Also, he said he was fine with rejection as long as they always remain as friends.

Eekss...i think i missed that part...did Sumo read that letter?? 😕

No idea. They haven't revealed it yet. Suhas go watch the earlier episodes. They're crucial to the story.

Nice post and I want to kill these spoiler writers . they are too much, Episode was good and urvashi sumo face off is not over board any one can react the way they both did. It's not like urvashi insulting sumo or anything these spoilers are exaggerating. And shravan sumo face off also is good. I don't feel he was insulting her he was showing her mirror how insensitivitly she behaved with him and it's not only sumo her friends all ashamed. And the gold digger part is over board he should not say that and he knows sumo is not like that. And precap again he was showing her mirror that one sorry don't erase the pain and hurt. If she valued his friendship she should contact him 10 years back and not wait for his comeback. Regarding sumo forgiving shravan first I don't think he will say sorry easily what will change him to say sorry. He wants to show that sumo never valued his friendship. First sumo should prove that he valued their friendship. And we know eventually they will forgive each other because it's their love story. They will accept each other with their faults.

WORD about spoilers. Even though they're accurate, they ruin the fun & the mood of watching the show because they're never placed in the context. Also a piece of writing on paper & when executed are different. I am seriously not going to come to any conclusions based on spoilers, esp after the torn dress track turned out so minor in the actual scheme of events.

I also think that this time Shravan is not going to say sorry, but neither is Sumo going to apologize esp after being humiliated. In fact she toh will throw him out of her life. I wonder how they will get talking again😆
