See, the way I see it, two wrongs don't make a right. What Suman did in the past was wrong and what Shravan does in the present is wrong. One wrong does not 'right' the other and there can be no excuses.

Shravan makes valid points, why did she not contact him in the past? He does not know she has lived with guilt over the last 10 years and possibly lacked the courage. He cannot know that she has changed and how she has changed. And he cannot see that she will reject him once more, for he is not the person she loves.

What he did today was to take from Suman everything she has held dear in her youth and no one in that room will see her without remembering this humiliation. The old Sumo may have been devastated at having lost her image, the Suman of today will only feel bad about spending her time nursing a friendship and a friend long dead. That is the only regret she will have and so talking of moving on, she can truly move on now.

But sadly, Shravan, will be left standing where he found himself 10 years ago and where he finds himself now.

Want to add one point... the memories that Sumo cherished from the past would have turned sore with this incident. That is the loss for her.

It gives him the right to insult her in public? He can ignore her, not want to keep any relationship with her, hate her guts- all that is perfectly justified..But what he did today was plain psychotic 😆 I mean he is actually avenging something which happened 10 years back..When they were teens 😆 A lot of us are immature at school yet once we grow up, we tend to mature and move on..Even if you cannot forgive, you don go about planning revenge and public humiliation..The fact that he put in so much effort to take revenge- inviting her bestie, booing her tickets etc. just to prove a point is scary to say the lease..He behaved like a love sick puppy in the past..He should have blasted her..Instead he let her walk all over him and now 10 years later, he is avenging it..Wow😆 Being insulted, called an opportunist, gold digger etc. in front of your whole school, your best friends etc. can be pretty scarring..They might go on to become besties or even marry each other in future but not sure how such effed up behavior is justifiable 😆

Well said. Seriously after all that he did today, why should Sumo even speak to him? I think she owes no answers to him. Hope the CVs show that transition in a good way. For the sake of drama I think the CVs effed up Shravan's revenge.

Seriously, who in the real world would go to such an extent to take revenge?

@poppins - I agree that her memories will be tainted by bitterness. Everytime she reminisces she will end up feeling bitter and lousy about how it all ended. And as long as he is there, she may go into extreme lengths to earnestly avoid him, if he will let her. Because while she will actually try to move on, he will not be able to and so wil not allow her to.

Well said and we cannot blame just one here

Often humiliation one went through adolescent age hurt for very long time, actually drives people to be someone and strike back exactly like Shravan

Now question can he move on hurting someone so close, never. Would be interesting to see how he fix it.

Writers should be praised for keeping whole thing short here, as for actors can't ask of better. Namik is growing slowly on me, Nikita is just amazing

Also hate the way he mislead her. He acted as though he had forgiven her and he was ready to let it all go. He was sweet towards her for the sake of the party and then at the party humiliated her. There is no justification for it. In the future Suman has no guarantee he is not going to pull that fake-sweet act and then humiliate her again. He seems very passive-aggressive and vindictive. What hurt? He needs to grow up. You don't treat anyone like that.

What if in the end it will turn out be a misunderstanding 10 years ago and Sumo was not responsible for whatever happened. She clearly told Shravan about 'keeping up her image' and didn't want her to be seen with him , although upset he was contented with that. And if the revenge is done for some thing that she didn't do then the regret is going to be immense. Until the revelation he can rejoice in his victory.

In my opinion what Sharavn did today cannot be justified as a response to what happened 10 years ago.
Suman was wrong then, never acknowledged him publicly and the letter incident affected him deeply so much that he felt the need to change..but she was up front about her terms of their relationship (not that it made her behaviour alright) unlike Shravan who slyly planned the whole thing with the sole purpose of humiliation and getting back at her for a mistake she did in her teens.

To lead her on and then humiliate her..that's going too far

The episode was quite painful to watch. But then I sort of felt like this was a full circle moment. The person she denied as her friend 10 years ago, now denies HER as his friend in front of everyone. What she did to him 10 years ago, he did to her 10 years later.

The sad and difficult part of the whole thing was that Sharvan and Suman are now adults, so it feels a lot more nasty to see what went down. But in the end, we can all revert back to our youth if and when needed. Especially when we are with our childhood friends!

It was painful to watch, but this had to happen for the story to go forward, so I was actually waiting for this. It was neither better nor worse than I expected. It was just right! This could totally have happened anywhere, its not far fetched. This is what I Iove about this PH. They have always managed to maintain this story's normalcy so far. I hope it continues that way.

Yes the Biblical term "an eye for an eye" is apt here! Cant wait to see next week now!
