The main concern we have here is why hasn't Shravan forgiven in all these years... Why does he still hold on to the past grudge...
First and foremost, we know that teenage is a sensitive age, most of us choose our career or focus during this time... What Shravan chose was Sumo, so much so that he wanted to do what she planned to do, wanted to go where she went.. She was his road and destination.
Secondly Shravan was an introvert, geek... He would loosen up with only certain people, for him Suman was one f them. Introverts, when are hurt, it effects them pretty bad, coz they do not pour out, yell and get done with it.. Their frustration brews inside, and there is no venting out, especially if there is no one as close as a mother to help them knowing their child's psychology...
Most importantly, Today's Shravan is the one who holds a facade, of a charmer, a high headed successful man... But on the inside, he is still vulnerable... Now why I say so:
He jerked at the first mention of Suman, when meeting her he never bothered to exchange even a hello. When Suman apologised, he claimed to have moved on.
With his desperation to get London tickets, it clearly showed that he wanted to run away, coz he was still affected by Suman and he wanted to move away from her... BUT...The moment she called him "bhagoda" that just was the last nail in the coffin for him... Then he realised his wounds were still fresh, and that he needed to settle scoreswith her...
What he does not know is, that in the process he will hurt himself seeing her hurt... Because how much he may deny, or doesn't let it surface, he still is in love with her... And he will never fall out of it.
