Episode begins with Ramesh asking Kancha about the “I love you” wala letter. Kancha looks at the door & prays that Sumo should come soon. Sumo comes into the room& tells Ramesh that the letter belongs to Shravan; Kancha-Ramesh are shocked; Sumo lies to Ramesh that the letter actually is a part of the “Romeo-Juliet” play they are doing & that while rehearsing with Bunty, the letter got burnt, but only the “I love you” wala part got saved; Kancha adds that then Shravan got scared & threw the letter, but because of the wind,that paper came & flew by our garden; Ramesh taunts her that now she remembered; Kancha says that she was waiting for Sumo as Ramesh would believe her more; Ramesh agrees & leaves from the place; Kancha says that why put the blame on Shravan; Sumo says its not blame, it’s the truth- the letter does belong to Shravan;
Malhotra house-
(A/N- yaar iss Saas-Bahu aspect ko toh mein khud bhi jhelna nahi chahati hu! so I’ll give a super-short update for this scene )
Kavita angry at Shravan for “falling in love” with Devika & clearly warns Shravan that she will not tolerate an Army “Bahu” in her household- she won’t mind afirangan, lekin Army waali ladki nahi chahiye; Bunty sees the entire thing unfold & wonders kaise Devika ki entry waapis ho gayi;
Shravan’s room-
Shravu is sitting on the bed, crying & helpless telling Bunty what elsecould he do? Sumo was also standing there- he says that had he taken her name in front of Mummy Malhotra & Sumo, he would have lost their friendship; Bunty agrees & praises Shravan for handling the situation; Shravan gets agitated & says that he has lied to those women, who matter the most to him - Sumo & Mumma? He asks Bunty what is his fault? Love brings happiness, yet he is the one who is lying about his feelings; he feels frustrated & wonders that the guilt is eating him up from within; he says that he has casually confessed of his likings to many girls, but the one girl whom he sincerely loves & wants to profess his feelings to, he can’t utter anything in front of her, fearingshe will dump him & their friendship; Bunty wonders what happened to Shravan; Shravan says he wasn’t like this before- he was happy in his older ways, in his older school; Bunty feels that it’s possible that Sumo knows everything& will tell Devika the truth. What will he do then?; Shravan claims that Sumo must be happy that he took Devika’s name & says that Sumo has her own set of goals &aspirations of joining the Army & carrying forward the family legacy; Shravan says that Sumo doesn’t care about these things & since it’s his feelings,he will only learn how to handle them; he is only not able to bear the burden of the guilt of lying to Sumo.

In the evening, Sumo-Devika go to Shravan’s home & Devika wonders why; Sumo asks her to give 2 mins; they go uptill Shravan’s room & see Mummy Malhotrawith Shravan & talking about laundry (A/N- typical Indian Maa! 😆); They greet Aunty & Shravan & tea kay bahane se Auntyji leaves; Devika asks Sumo what’s the matter- she asked for the white dress to be given back & now they are in Shravan’s room; Shravan wonders, Sumo says that she wants to apologise to both of them- she apologises to Devika that she shouldn’t have given that dress to her, as Shravan had gifted Sumo that dress; She apologises to Shravan saying that she shouldn’t have hurt his feelings (regarding the dress); Shravan is touched & says it’s ok; Sumo tries repeatedly to try to make Shravan confess about his feelings but he chooses not to; Devika soon leaves as it starts to thunder & Shravan asks her to leave as well as it might rain; Sumo says “I love you”; Shravan kay mann main laddoo phhoota & he asks her what did she say? 😆; Sumo says that he only had to say “I love you” to Devika, so why wasn’t he able to do so & stop her?; she still pesters him for telling the truth & he denies it; Sumo shouts at him saying that she gave him numerable chances to tell the truth, yet everytime he chose to lie- if the friendship is not real, then how can she trust his feelings; she leaves angrily leaving Shravan fearful & overwhelmed; Sumo thinks to herself that she had to do this, so that Shravan can tell her truth; Shravan resolves to tell the entire truth to Sumo- he calls up Sumo & tells her to give him one more chance to say the truth; Sumo says that she knew he will try to stop her, that’s why she is waiting for him; Shravan goes upto her & tells her that he loves her.

SuVan facing each other at the road at night; Shravan is a bit hesitant, doesn’t know where to start;
Suman: Mein wait kar rahi hu Shravan. Please bolo.
Shravan *taking a deep breath*: Jiss baat ko mein tumhe bahut pehle sey batana chahata tha aur jissey aaj tum bhi sunna chaah rahi ho… woh sun ney se pehle bas itna samajhlo ki, tum mere liye bahut special ho.
Suman nods.
Shravan: Aaj mein tumhe apni zindagi ka sabse bada sach batane jaa raha hu. Suman, mein tumse pyaar karta hu.
Suman is flabbergasted at his confession.
Shravan: Mein apni shirt ka button kholkar tumhaare ghar aata tha kyunki yeh tumhe pasand tha. Meine teekhi paani-puri khaayi kyunki tumhe jeetna tha. Uss Aneesh aur Daadu sey itni bezaati sahi, kyunki tumhe yeh sahi lagta hain. Tumhe kya lagta hain Suman? Kya mein itna bewakoof hu yaa mujhe pata nahi ki ladkiyaan insey impress nahi hoti. Tumhe pata hain, tumhaare saath rehne kay liye sau bahane banata tha; hazaar koshish karta tha ki kisi tarah tumhara dil jeet sakun. Issliye toh tumhaari uss group-study main bhi aaya, magar…
Suman: Kya? Toh tum study group main issliye…?
Shravan: Haan. Mein jitni koshish kar sakta tha na, ussey badh kar koshish kee, ki tumhe bhi mujhse pyaar ho jaaye par… dekho na aisa hua hi nahi. Aur jab tumne mujhse kaha ki tumhe mujhme apna best friend dikhaayi deta hain na, toh mein samajh gaya aur mein faisla kiya ki aaj sey no pyaar, no feelings, sirf dostii. Kyunki tumhaari khushi sey badhkar mere liye aur kuch nahi hain.
Suman: yaani ki jab tumne “Friends Forever” kay liye haan bola tha, toh usske baad bhi mein sirf dost sey zyaada thi tumhaare liye? Matlab, tumne koshish ki thi, par tum apni feelings sey nahi jeet paaye.
Shravan: mein na jaanta hu ki matlab, apni dil ki feelings chupaana galat hain par… tumhe pata hain ki meine aisa kyun kiya? Meine aisa sirf issliye kiya taaki humaari dosti bach sakey. Woh dostii bachi rahe jo, tum chahati thi… humesha rehne waali dosti. Sirf aur sirf tumhaare saath kay liye, humaari dosti bachane kay liye,mein toh apna… pyaar bhi bhoolney kay liye taiyaar tha yaar.
Shravan *goes to Suman & holds her shoulders*: issliye please… kabhi yehmat kehna ki mera pyaar sacha nahi hain. Aaj tumhaari aankhon main dekhkar kehraha hu, chaahey toh padh lo.

Precap- Beena arrives & asks if they don’t have class; Shravan says Sumowas late to class; Beena thinks maybe she is unwell & goes to check; Sumo mayhave high fever; Shravan overhears & goes to get the medicine & trips& falls on the road, hurting himself.
