My cousin brother is in British Army so heard a little about the life. I have a lot respect for soldiers, sometimes I wish I could be one of them!

About the show, I hope they show the feelings of Suvan being away from others & their inner turmoils on a operation and how Shravan is adjusting himself there.

And nice topic Alina :)

I don't have anyone from my immediate family in the armed forces but initially I wanted to join the Armed Forces Medical College based in Pune. Unfortunately things didn't work out😭

I'm still in awe of that institute. It's my dream to be associated with the army in any way😊

I've actually looked into some Army medical programs myself too but I'm not sure if I'm really cut out for that because I could be sent overseas lol I want to stay near my family. Although, I would be interested in for working for Veteran Affairs Hospitals/Clinics.

I can't wait to see that too! The army phase is going to be so interesting to watch.

My cousin maternal uncle and his brother were in the Indian army. They are elder to my mother by 10-12 years.

When I was 6/7 years old he visited my house and while having lunch I went to switch on the TV and he was like "Child, don't switch on the tv it's a bad habit" I agreed to it as I had no problem with it and he was impressed and so he gave me a chocolate. And I was impressed by his gesture of giving me a chocolate🤣

Whenever I meet him which occurs every 1 or 2 years he speaks about his experiences. We all cousins feel inspired to work for the country due to this.

@Alina good topic.👍🏼

Your efforts for increasing our ranking are commendable.👏

I too heard that army life has many difficulties besides the one shown on tv. Politics is everywhere.

I wish they show a bit of politics in army but not much or the public will revolt against it for sure. People don't get the fact that everything and everyone have good as well as bad qualities.

Exactly! I feel like a lot of people go into the army expecting it to be something else because only the glamour is shown and when you join, you also see an ugly side that shocks you. Everything has a good and bad side to it. I'm working as a medical assistant right now and I am just so shocked by how the healthcare system actually is. Unfortunately, it's just a business to some people. But, it hasn't deterred me from medicine and I still plan on pursing it. But, now I know what to expect and know what kind of doctor I want to be.

Many people work for money nowadays and forget that money is just a way(not the best one though) for living and not complete life.

I had a wish to be a lawyer when I was in 8th (it faded away with time and I was back with my medico dream) and discussed about it with my uncle who is a lawyer. He was like it's a good profession but mind the circumstances. It's not like the one shown in movies especially for girls. People will look down at you purposely to make you leave a case and blame everything on you all for the thing that you are a female. Being a woman you will face all type of threats. I was still ready for it but realised it later that it was the glamour itself which attracted me. I am glad I realised it or life would have been difficult later.
