I haven't watched his role in QH but of what I know, NP didn't have much to do there and he was out of the show pretty quickly. After that, the body of his work never had hardcore romance or romantic scenes. His previous show was supposedly a love story but it hardly had any romance, so I guess, it'll be a matter of time till he aces the romantic scenes.
Donal had rightly deciphered the fandoms of both NamVik- they both want to see "love". 😆
And this is the very reason that what never impressed us in SS, impressed the other fandom- they probably just wanted to see their fav romancing someone, anyone. 😛
And although, Vikku had a full fledged romantic hero role in his previous outing, his fans too, were disappointed with his role. For me, it wasn't the fact that he was negative, it was the poor characterisation of all 3 leads that was highly disappointing!
Neither the obsession made sense, nor the louu isshtory.
I have seen romance of epic levels before coming to the EDT fandom- and when I say "epic", I mean a properly executed love story between two flawed, layered individuals, whose biggest asset was their ability to communicate with each other and bare their souls for the other to see. They had amazing scenes, off the charts chemistry and we were one lucky fandom to get uncensored lip-locks, make out scenes, love making etc! 😈
So it's very obvious that I won't settle for something that looks more like a parody of a love story, told in a rushed manner, by putting scenes which had no head or tail whatsoever. 🤔
I remember, even when everything was hunky dory in VaNya land, I kept complaining about the lack of trust and communication b/w them. Most of the time, it was Shanny Babying Vyom or Vyom being a complete douche!
The 2 saving graces they had was the execution and the writing of their scenes and of course, DoVik!
