All three are brilliant actors. XD

How many episodes does this show have? Not more than 100-150 I guess.

The obvious conclusion most of us have made is that, the Bedis killed Shiv. But I honestly think and hope the story is more convoluted than that. I want all three of them to be cracked characters. And not one of them glorious and the other completely wrong.

hahaha...exactly my point! I am a little lost as to the reason for all the arguments...all the characters signed up for their respective roles knowing what was expected out of them, in the event it doesn't sit well with them, I am sure they will walk out: it's not that uncommon in tele world! So there is no reason to take offense to the character given to a certain actor: murderer, rapist, stalker etc etc. The actors are just playing the roles that they thought they would be interested to play. What I don't inderstand is if Shiv is criticized for molesting Sharanya or Vyom is blamed for attempting rape on her, why are Namik or Vilram fandoms taking offense to it? Creeps are creeps and it is natural for creeps to be blamed: a character of a rapist deserves your condemnation as well,just because my favourite actor is playing the role he cannot be excused.And yes,your favourite actor has signed up for that role: he is playing a role, it is not him and it should not be confused with him either. If he does not have a problem with playing a certain kind of role, what problems can fans have with his choices? We should learn to respect our favourite actors and their choices more.

Another thing that confuses me is regarding the fandom, as in, who ends up with the girl? What does ending up with the girl show? Does it add to the actors character value? Does it help his future career in any way? None of it. Then why does the girl need to end up with your favourite actor? Shiv is a ghost, Sharanya loved him but he is dead now. So should she die to be with him? Or does he need to be made alive? Why? Why can't he find peace in the hereafter and she carry on with her life? Say Vyom turns up to be the villain: the amazing actor that Vikram is, I wouls love to see him play a negative role because I have already seen him play a positive role. Why does his character need to be made positive if its basic essence is negative? Or say he is positive, but Sharanya doesn't love him. Why does she need to love him or be with him? I think in some way, this shipping and fandom business creates indirect pressure on the writers and in an attempt to assuage everyone, they sometimes compromise with the story.

I was very young when I watched paheli. I don't even remember the exact story. LOL!

We need to demand them more of their off screen videos. Knowing their love for their fandom, they would surely fulfill our demand 😉

Both are good actors and are performing their roles to perfection..

Vikram is indeed very talented actor!! Even he nailed in the possession track. And the first episode of EDT... He was absolutely brilliant!! That was my first impression about him as I had not seen his work before. In fact the whole cast of EDT is talent ka bhandar. They just need a chance & a proper script to show their jalwa 😆

I think, it's 130 episode series. Amar Upadhyay has mentioned about this in one of his IVs.

I'm also hoping for a great story & a proper justification for each character as to why he/she behaved the way they did.

i have watched that movie 2-3 times...I'm a huge srk fan...yeah offscreen chemistry is really good...very real!! not at all pretentious in front of camera...fresh n different from the usual

I absolutely agree!! Actors have signed up their roles. They are aware of their character graph. And every actor has every right to play or choose a character as per his liking. It's just that fans also have certain expectations from their favourites. And it's normal. What I don't get is - what's the problem if our favorite is playing an outright negative character? Everyone here is trying to prove their actor's character as a positive & innocent one. Even now when most doubts are on Vyom, some people really don't want him to be the killer & negative. And I don't understand why? I'm actually so excited to witness different shades of Vyom. Vikram has got a better opportunity to showcase his different side as an actor.

@bold... Yes, you're right!! Act of molestation can't be justified!! It's just that makers are themselves not coming clear with that whole possession track. I hope we get our answers soon as to who did that & why he did that. You are saying that just because our favourite is playing that role, we shouldn't excuse him. Sorry to say but where there is favorite, a little bias is also there. Can't help it tbh. But that doesn't mean we have supported a rapist. Most Namik /Shiv fans have labelled this act as disgusting & many have said that they won't be able to support Shiv anymore if this turns out be true. But makers didn't come up clear with this. Since this is a thriller, unpredictable can happen so we are waiting for our answers. The offense taking was not about the character tbh. It's sad that some people can't differentiate between an actor & a character. The worst thing was when Namik was being dragged in this whole matter & was labelled as rapist. It was just too much!! Really sorry, I've answered this on behalf of Namik fandom. As I said, when there is a favorite, a little bias is also there. I hope you don't mind.

Talking about getting a girl, I seriously don't get as to why the one who gets the girl is called as hero & the one who doesn't as villain. I think because most are teenagers & young fellows here, the demand for romance & shipping thing is also there. And that's the fact!!

@underline...I seriously hope, that's not the case. The story needs to be told exactly as they have planned in the beginning.
