@Rein,regarding what you posted in the previous AT about Shiv being clinically dead,I think this is a possibility.Perhaps he was presumed dead by his murderer but he was found by someone.Now he is lying in a coma somewhere while his body is having an OBE.

I don't know whether you have seen the K drama called Master's Sun.In that show the ML is comatose and he has an OBE.But he cannot return to his body since he believes himself to be dead.Once he realises he is alive he returns to his body and regains consciousness.

Is expecting something like this from ITV be a tad bit much??

If they take this route , then it'll be truly path breaking for ITV , but like you said it'd be too much to expect such creativity here.
