I was never invested in YaBir, though I liked the few angsty scenes they had, post-Vyom revelation. Kavya has spunk when she is not being the typical bahu.
But the difficulty is that after yesterday's episode, I'm sold. I watched JaBir bit again, on mute (because their dialogues were a little aivai for me), and they are really good.
If the makers go back to YaBir, it will be a comedown, because YaBir just don't have the spark/timing to match JaBir.
BTW did you read TT's friday lb? She was really cursing the showmakers for not pairing them from the start. đ¤Ł
I did hahaha, I swear her comic timing is priceless. Her description of wanting a couple in kissing distance is so freaking accurate. I was all for tashan and what not - but seeing how fiery ShreZain are together, I literally just want them to make out LOL. Story be damned (I kid)!
I agree, I liked fierce Kavya. Having her meddle in Jâs business made no sense, when she had her own battles to fight. That annoyed me big time, else Tanvi is a decent actor. Her acting took a blow towards the end of her time in the show, which is understandable.
Zain and Shrenu are just magical together. Imagine if Zain had enacted those romantic JanRuv scenes with Shrenu. *fans thyself* But Iâm glad Kabir isnât a spineless and clueless character like Dhruv lol.
I donât know how many of you watched Zain in IB. His entry music was BOMB af and yesterdayâs kichar scene instantly reminded me of that BGM. Pooja walking with all that swag is what the BGM deserves, not Nancy/Mandyâs non existent screen presence lol.

that would be difficult one for kavya was mother and many actress dont want to play mother on screen also its good that they didnt brought any kind of leap and i guess if jabir not being the endgame they really need good actress who can have a good chemistry with zain no offence to tanvi but after watching shrezain its hard to accept tanvi and zain
Plus Shrenu and Zain have a different sort of chemistry. Tanvi-Zain had an awkward start (which was probably what the script had demanded) and they made a really soft pair. After the fireworks by Shrenu and Zain, it would be hard to go back to a soft pair, not saying that JaBir would only have tashan between them. But given their personalities, if they are endgame, the love story is going to be super passionate, and we have honestly been spoilt by ShreZain.

what i think is that any love story we see they start with trip and fall eyelocks not in initials they develop them individually and then they develop the love story but here it was ulta-fulta as we didn't who kavya and kabir were and definitely accept it nor not we like to see the spark from initially which was not seen in yabir thats why i was more invested in janruv but after jabir it would be hard for yabir/janruv atleast for me.Originally posted by: Euphoria.

JanRuv never worked for me. That was a toxic af relationship imo. With YaBir, I agree, they should have shown the nuances instead of having those typical falling scenes, which is why I really liked their story post the Vyom revelation scene. Itâs unfortunate that they had to wrap that up in light of the revamp.
Regardless of whether JaBir are endgame or not, Pooja should NEVER go back to Dhruv. He doesnât deserve her at all. She has such a strong personality - Dhruv can never match up to her.

This!
Also, something about Dhruv's love was so....needy? Like yes, he is decent and good on him, for never forcing intimacy on his wife, but isn't this the basic minimum we expect from every man? Or we should, in any case.
I remember the 'date' scene. I was so engrossed in Jahnvi planting that cheque in the mousetrap (I love her sense of humorđ) and crushing Manohar, and the next scene was such a flop. Like, I couldn't even watch the entire 'date', it was so uncomfortable. Imagine if the wife is at so much discomfort, how can the husband be oblivious to it?
I think that's why the ship never worked for me.
Word word word! The date sequence was blah, I donât even have a word to describe how bad it was. Even the scene where Janhvi was doing yoga and he sneaks up on her? Poor Janhvi, delete! I donât know if they intended to make Dhruv the âraja betaâ - like he claimed in Fridayâs episode LOL, a contrast to the rebellious son (aka Kabir) but his character never clicked for me. I didnât feel sorry for him when Janhvi was using him - my fave scenes were when she was annoyed by his despo-giri, LOL. Pyaar andha aur behra hota hain, savageee!
TT was spot on in saying how no one puts any effort into his character LOL. No offence to Ishaan, he does well in some scenes but I usually have to FF his scenes because his acting isnât convincing at all. Like that bar scene - what was that even? What shitty dialogues.
Kabir is truly an equal to Pooja. Smart and witty like her. He might be coming across as being too righteous or preachy of late, but it should balance out soon. He has shown more compassion than Dhruv has. Dhruv went from lashing out at her, to suggesting that enemies should be killed to being all mopey and sad? I should feel for him, but I donât, because he just comes across as a selfish character. He can never match up to Pooja because he is always thinking about his own feelings FIRST.
Thatâs why I lowkey hope JaBir are endgame, because Pooja deserves a partner who cares about her feelings and understands her, for who she is.
