Word word word! The date sequence was blah, I don’t even have a word to describe how bad it was. Even the scene where Janhvi was doing yoga and he sneaks up on her? Poor Janhvi, delete! I don’t know if they intended to make Dhruv the “raja beta” - like he claimed in Friday’s episode LOL, a contrast to the rebellious son (aka Kabir) but his character never clicked for me. I didn’t feel sorry for him when Janhvi was using him - my fave scenes were when she was annoyed by his despo-giri, LOL. Pyaar andha aur behra hota hain, savageee!
TT was spot on in saying how no one puts any effort into his character LOL. No offence to Ishaan, he does well in some scenes but I usually have to FF his scenes because his acting isn’t convincing at all. Like that bar scene - what was that even? What shitty dialogues.
Kabir is truly an equal to Pooja. Smart and witty like her. He might be coming across as being too righteous or preachy of late, but it should balance out soon. He has shown more compassion than Dhruv has. Dhruv went from lashing out at her, to suggesting that enemies should be killed to being all mopey and sad? I should feel for him, but I don’t, because he just comes across as a selfish character. He can never match up to Pooja because he is always thinking about his own feelings FIRST.
That’s why I lowkey hope JaBir are endgame, because Pooja deserves a partner who cares about her feelings and understands her, for who she is.
@bold: Thats one of my fav too!!
Also, the another one when she is with Amma, and she's like who does he think he is Ranbir Kapoor, and ek tarfah pyaar. Also, the one where she tells him to build a temple for her, lol. 🤣
I think Dhruv was always in love with Jahnvi, the perfect bahu/wife, and not Pooja. Or even the Jahnvi, the audience saw, the shady Jahnvi.
I'll give him credit for one thing, that he would never resent Jahnvi's success, I mean, how she came up with better ideas, or impressed PK. He never seemed egotistic about it.
But ugh, he's so....chomu. I don't want to, but that word pops to my head.
