I was disappointed with Kabir. I felt Zain was acting out Kabir the same way he did Neil. I would have loved to have seen him think up some mannerism changes that made Kabir unique. He is a fab actor - making some changes would have strengthened him as an actor and made the character unique.

Tanvi and Ishani - cannot stand both. Tanvi is really boring and is like a frozen statue. She cannot act. I cringe at the romance they try to create with Kabir/Tanvi. It seems so forced and absolutely no spark of chemistry. Instead I actually like Dhruv/Jhanvi romance or what little they have shown between them. There is potential, if the writers develope it properly. Ishani not sure if it is her acting or the way her character is written, I don't care for her.

There are some awesome bonds between the brothers - loved that in the first week but I don't see anything anymore. Loved the mom/Kabir angle - they should develop more of that. I do like the dad/Kabir/Dhruv bond. If developed properly it can be awesome. Love the Jhanvi/dad bond.

Despite all this I do agree there is something lacking this week, that I do not feel like watching the whole episodes. I just watch bits and pieces posted in Instagram and am not interested after that. I think it is in the writing. Even Zain's acting seemed forced in one of the episodes this week.

Majority of the actors are good. The production team and the writers have to do their part to make the story interesting and to hold the viewers.

pH values are good but agree there are wasting a potential ensemble cast. Why not utilise it why rush with Jhanvi so early making it so easy for Guess for audience.

Makers need to understand along with the characters even audience have to be kept guessing but highly disappointed how every thing of Jhanvi is being laid out bare within 12 episode's.

Once Jhanvi biography explanation is done isn't it easy for people to guess what's coming the away. Makers need to up the ante & start working on other characters too. You have an ensemble use it

I dunno i feel kabir and kavya can work

Dhruv i dont find him any good ,nor is actor any great imo

But here three weeks into show we got to know every possible thing about who Jhanvi is & what her motives are apart from why which seems predictable. This show wasn't a finite one so why the rush. There is nothing mysterious about jhanvi & other characters plain unidimensional character's. It now seems more like a biography of Jhanvi Mittal aka Pooja Sharma where makers keep explaining every single detail of her & don't get me started on the revenge or the thriller part

Exactly why is every minute detail of Jhanvi already out i mean the major one

The name part could have been later ,the flaashbacks could be later

Look at how well EHT was executed the thriller was kept intact for long

Personally I’m already bored of this show and jhanvi’s antics. I’m adoring shrenu’s performance and jhanvi’s calculative behaviour, but the shine from jhanvi past the two week line has already worn off for me as I think of how unnecessary jhanvi’s treatment and attitude to the rest of the family is.

PK should be her focus yet here she wants to punish anyone even remotely connected to PK and doesn’t care. I wouldn’t mind her manipulating the family here and there for their trust if her plans were solely targeted at the person she believes is responsible for her father’s death, but instead there she is, not caring about targeting and harming innocents like Dhruv, kabir, Kavya and suman only because they are related to PK.

I know much of her plan is gaining their trust in order to execute her revenge, so manipulation to gain/maintain the trust of the family in her through manipulations is necessary, but her willingness to punish and destroy them just for being related to PK is where my mind stops connecting with her, especially her passive attitude/ response to amma on targeting innocent Kavya just for walking into the house. It was the first time I rolled my eyes at jhanvi and thought how much time wasting she is doing and how she’s making her own revenge utterly baseless by actively targeting people she knows have done her no wrong.

On top of it the writers seem to be finding it impossible to balance writing between jhanvi and the rest of the characters. I think even if the writers got rid of characters that already don’t get much dialogues such as Chachi, Sonali, jay to increase the lust if characters in the show the writers would still be incapable of writing for any other character other than jhanvi. A show with only one character constantly at focus bores me.

Personally if I had written this show I would have given more of a role to dadaji who would actually act like he is the eldest in the house and try and speak sense into his son and actually speak in favour of kabir, Kavya and Arush.

I would have Kavya also being a little shadey with hidden intentions against the family and Kavya-jhanvi both getting whiffs of each other’s dodgy behaviour/ intentions, with both Mittal bahus being shown to have seperate agendas against the family.

Kabir would be more rebellious and even competitive with his father on a professional basis to spite his father so that we would have more Tashan between the father-son duo on a regular basis, whilst also getting whiff of foul play against his family and investigating without telling anyone about his suspicions.

I did not start watching this show just for shrenu and started primarily for zain, so here I have a right to be disappointed at the amount of writing dedicated solely to jhanvi.

I started watching it for Zain too. I do not know anybody else in this show but how much time given to each character is not as important as, if they have a good storyline and are developing the characters according to the storyline. If the overall storyline is good and and they have a clear plan on how to develop each character towards the story then even a minimum appearance can make a mximum impact. The problem here is, the writers are swaying thinking they need to create mystery, they need to create romance.

The first week was interesting since we got to see the different relationship bonds. They need to slow down and develop these characters and the various bonds in the family. This story will work with minimal romance. This is a thriller.

I think the Jhanvi/Dhruv bond is working for me - since there is something sweet and simple about their romance and when they are together they look good and there is this little spark. Also Jhanvi can act and Dhruv is good as a simple guy.

Kabir/Tanvi is not working for me. Tanvi cannot act and I feel Zain is trying to compensate and there is really something missing. Also I feel, the writers have targeted this couple for romance and I think they are forcing romance which is not coming through on screen. Maybe they should relax and let whatever relationship that is working between Kabir & Tanvi to come through. Plus Kabir looks huge next to Tanvi.

To me chemistry cannot be created. It is either there or not. It is there in abundance for some and minimal for others but in a ITV daily soap, if the writers understand and work around it, the story will still work. It is all in the understanding of the characters and what is working on screen and developing them accordingly. Majority of the actors are good and the main plot is good. I think the success/failure of this show is in the hands of the writers.

I really don't think they will work(Kabir Kavya). No offence to the actress, but I really don't like her acting. Her voice , dialogue delivery are also not good.

Moreover, they are not giving her proper costumes and makeup.

I don't feel any chemistry between the two. As someone has correctly pointed out that Kabir looks huge in front of her.

Dhruv is an average actor, but he has some chemistry with Shrenu, and thus their scenes are better than Kavir Kavya scenes .

(My POV)

Relax everyone. Whatever be our reasons to watch the show, however be the chemistry between the romantic leads, we still need a water tight plot and mystery element to keep the show going. Can only hope that the production house has a proper plan.

I personally love the show ! The concept is simply awesome and it's a treat to watch Shrenu in that kind of avatar...can't wait to see more and how her revenge will turn out...will she succeed or will someone discover her truth first

I think it’s hard to write a whole tv show that’s going to span months ...solely on revenge and negativity...there’s only so much of negativity that viewers can digest., ..also here the central character is only interested in revenge..there’s nothing else going on for her..e.g. she doesn’t have a parallel love story going on to interest us..e.g. in ek Hasina thi,..we had revenge but got a love story as well ..and we had a dynamic heroine bent in revenge together with a strong supporting negative character in the hero’s mother ..so it was enjoyable seeing their clashes as well....but here the love story element was supposed to be Kabir kavya ..but people are not liking their pairing ...so it doesn’t seem to have enough to grip the viewers ...

The trps are showing the waning interest of the audience. Presuming that the trp aunties are stupid is backfiring on the production house. Cant survive long on less than 1 trp.

And today's episode is making way for Dhruv to jump into the arms of another woman very soon. Coz we have a vague idea about the original story, of course. But the way Janhvi has been treating the poor sod, he will soon run away, LOL.
