Life OK's popular suspense drama Ek Boond Ishq which went on air on September 9th of 2013 and completed one year this Tuesday. On the whole, the show received a positive feedback and a multitude of love from its fans over the course of the year.
At recent, the show underwent a five year leap in which a number of the major cast was killed off leaving Viraf Patel (Mrityunjay), Chhavi Pandey (Tara) and Vishwajeet Pradhan (Rudrapratap/Kalavati) to carry the show forward. At current, Mrityunjay is leaving his life as Balli thanks to his lost memory and Tara is forced to live in an unknown house where everyone believes her to be Sia. Kalavati, now Billo, is controlling their lives from afar.

As part of the one year celebrations, the main leads of the show Viraf and Chhavi, cut a large chocolate cake and distributed it amongst the cast and crew.

Speaking on the joyous occasion, Viraf Patel told a leading daily "Ek Boond Ishq has been my first daily soap and is extremely special to me. It feels really nice to see the show complete a year. Time flies soon and I can't believe it's already been a year. I'd like to thank the entire team for making this journey so memorable and the audience for watching us."
