Hey ladies and unki moochless gentlemen (maybe not moochless),
What a beautiful and interesting episode it was with a mixture of romance and progress in the story! I swear Mriara should stand in the rain and near the poolside more often because that's when all the romance seems to come out of them. What I was most happy to see was that there were no haddis in their romance! (Laado doesn't count because she didn't physically interrupt or stop them from romancing so I wouldn't count her as a haddi).
SHEGUFTA'S BEST SCENE OF THE DAY IS THE LATTOO SCENE!
What makes this scene the best?
It was a toussle between Samjhawan unplugged scene or this one but I opted for this scene because I feel this scene really lay the foundation for how Mriara's relationship will progress from this point onwards.
Firstly, the lattoo failed to spin because he has started to listen to his heart which in itself is a huge victory for Tara.
Secondly, MJ admitted that he is in love with her but until he figured out or at least gets closer to the truth of his identity, he can only give her his friendship - This is important because this is how Mriara's relationship in the UC days became strong. It was their friendship in the UC that allowed to break through all their misconceptions about one another (MJ being a heinous criminal and Tara being a gold digger) and fall in love - The love is so strong that only they were able to understand and trust one another wholeheartedly.
Thirdly, I loved the way how he grabbed her arm and shushed her. It reminded me and Tara of the old MJ who used to scold her and warn her in the same fashion. I love that even though he doesn't remember who he is, he still treats Tara with the same authority as if she were his wife which goes to show that an individual's memory can be lost but his inherent personality can never be lost.
Fourthly, Tara telling him that he has always loved her but now he has remembered and that's why he's accepted it was so true! Honestly, their love is eternal and this is demonstrated by how in every single phase of their 6-7 year marriage, they've only ever been attracted to and fallen in love with one another, in all their various looks and avatars. No matter who else comes into the picture, MJ and Tara's heart, mind and soul only sees, hears and feels one another.
Finally, MJ is using his brain! Yes I've been saying all this time that he needs to find out about Sia's death before anytjing else because that would confirm Tara's claim that she is Tara. I'm glad that now he's become Sherlock Holmes and will find out the mystery of Sia. The arrival of RP will only make MJ's work easier because he'll call Tara as Tara 😃
