MriAra TS||Mission Manaoo Taara (On hold)

"Taara, will you even tell me what you are mad at me for?" I ask, walking i to our room behind her. "Really? You need me to tell you this even after two years of being married to each other?" she says, her nose red with anger. I had honestly no idea why Taara was mad at me. Had I forgotten something?

I look at the calendar on the wall. It wasn't our anniversary. It wasn't Taara's birthday... Oh no! Taara's birthday! I had completely forgotten about her birthday yesterday!

"Taara, I... I'm sorry," I say. "Leave it. I don't want to hear your sorry. Go get ready otherwise you'll be late for work," she says. There was no point in talking to her at the moment, she would just get even more angry. I pick up the clothes that she had laid out and went to go change, wondering how to pacify her.

"Mrityunjay, what happened? Why aren't you concentrating on your work?" Aditya repeats for the third time. I look up at him. I had been thinking about what to do for Taara and I hadn't even realized that he was talking to me.

"Sorry, I was just thinking about something. Let's get to work," I say. "You were thinking about Taara bhabhi right?" he asks. "How do you know?" I ask, shocked. "Meethi told me yesterday. She said Taara bhabhi called her and she told her that you forgot her birthday. Mrityunjay, how can you do that? I mean who forgets their own wife's birthday? Not cool bhai," he says.

Aditya was my best friend and we were part owners of this company. His wife Meethi and Taara were good friends. It wasn't hard to believe that Taara wouldn't tell Meethi about this. I think that I would be more surprised if she didn't!

"Ok ok, I got it. Now will you stop lecturing me and help me? I need to do something to make her mood better and to say sorry. She won't even talk to me properly," I say. Hopefully Aditya would have something useful!

"Mrityunjay, I have the perfect idea," he says. I lean in closer and he tells me his idea. I was so sure that this plan was going to work now.
