I am referring to the Ajay Devgan flick released in 1999.
For those who don't know the concept was that Amrish Puri's character in the flick was way too considerate for Ajay Devgan who was an orphan just because he seemed way more talented than his own son Ajinkya.
Reena Roy hated Ajay to the core and things went out of control when she proposed marriage of Ajinkya and Raveena Tandon to her father but Raveena loved Ajay and Amrish Puri supported their alliance.
Everyone suspected that Ajay was Amrish's son but it turned out later that he was Reena's illegitimate son which she realized when she saw Ajay for the first time (all this while he was just a name for her) and found that he looked exactly like her boyfriend (Ajay Devgan in double role) who had died in a bike accident before they could marry.
Reena's brother Paresh Rawal had dumped the baby in an orphanage and lied that it was dead so that he could get her married to a rich guy.
In this case it could be that Mrityunjay was Nirmala's son out of wedlock before she married Jayraj and somehow Rudra Pratap knows about this and is blackmailing Nirmala with the secret but hasn't told her yet that its Mrityunjay himself whom she had left in the orphanage.
Just a guess.
P.S. I am still not ready to buy this fact that Mrityunjay could be RP's son. This is against law of nature that eunuchs (and not gay men) can reproduce and I would not like CVs to make fun of this fact.
