But didn't Dadaji accept him as the heir even if he was the adopted one? Inspite of Aditya being there.
This clearly suggest that blood relations are no criteria to be the heir and if this is put forth it would be a wrong message.
Well, wrong message just according to my POV. I request this not to be taken personally as opinions may be different and many do consider blood ties to be of utmost importance for inheritance.

No one is saying it is important!!!!!

I am sure everyone has seen Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in which clearly Shahrukh's character Rahul was the heir apparent!!!!!

It is just that MJ has always been made to feel that he is not a Shekhawat!!!!!!
