I swear post third marriage of Mriara, the show has really picked up their game again and they're delivering such heartfelt and meaningful episodes! So here's Shegufta's take on the last episode for the week.
Highlights:
1. MJ going to back to jail:
Alright first thing I want to mention is that MJ being put back in jail for the gun incident isn't as silly as we think. Yes, he was the one who got shot but since that goon claimed that MJ had paid him to place the gun in Tara's bag, the police can't take any risks. Especially since MJ is already an accused rapist and murderer. The IG also said that before the truth comes out, they have to end his parole and keep in jail under close supervision. Now the question remains for how long will MJ be in jail? Will he get parole again?
2. Mriara supporting one another:
Not for one second did I think that it was ViCha acting! The love, concern and faith in the way they were holding each other seemed so genuine. MJ was rather calm when he was told he had to go back to jail and told a very concerned Tara that this was a conspiracy against him. I had tears in my eyes when Tara clung onto him hoping to keep him close to her forever.
I loved how Tara wouldn't let MJ go to the police station by himself and the way in which they always hold hands makes me want to resurrect Radha from the dead just so she can give her goddamn statement! It actually hurt so much to see them in so much pain which means next week I'll be an emotional wreck when they'll be separated.
3. Mriara's positivity:
My favourite part of the episode was definitely the last scene where AD comes with prasad for her SIL and daughter. Much like Tara, AD also clung onto MJ like a mother would when her son is going far from her. I am so happy that MJ is being the sensible and strong person who is making sure that everyone who is close to him is safe and happy before he leaves for jail. His positivity brought a smile to my face because I knew that he wouldn't be that old depressed MJ in jail again. You know why he is so positive about all of this?
He knows that his wife and now his best friend will go to any lengths to get him out of jail. He has seen enough in the last couple of months to know that she pushes aside all her fears and insecurities when confronted with the fact that her husband is in danger. I don't think I've ever felt so emotionally distraught for a TV couple until now and that's because there was something so real about the emotions they were both portraying, like as if ViCha were being separated too. (technically they are because they'll be shooting in two different locations).
Watching Mriara yesterday made me think of all the vows they took and also the vows people take in real life. When you get married, you promise to be with your partner til death but looking at them I think not even death can separate them.
Note: I can actually see Rudini happening and I see them making a good match because both are out to destroy the people who've "wronged" them. Nandu was cheated and RP was ostracised for his identity but the way they're going about teaching these people a lesson is completely wrong so it makes sense for two people with the same aim in life to be together. I have zero sympathy for the both of them - when taking revenge you should dig two graves, one for your enemy and one for yourself.
