Tara was hungry and looking out for something to eat when her eyes fall on the fruits on a guava tree. She tries to reach them but could not. She then mutters to herself that if she could not bear the hunger how much more hungry would MJ and Radha be since they have lost a lot of blood. She needs to get the fruits for them at any cost. She then picks up a stone and throws it on the fruit but it misses its mark. She feels frustrated and is about to turn away when she sees a low hanging fruit. She gets excited and reaches for it when she realises that MJ had tugged the branch down so that she can reach the fruit. She hesitates to take the fruit but MJ plucks it and hands it over to her. He then shakes up the tree so that the fruits fall in her outstretched dupatta. One of them falls on her head and he apologises for hurting her but soon another falls on his head too prompting her to giggle at his sheepish look. She offers a fruit to him but he shakes his head indicating that he wants her to eat instead. She shrugs and eats the fruit happily.
My interpretation of this beautiful scene is this. The fruits depict the elusive love which Tara is desperately wanting from MJ. Initially she wanted it for herself but then realises that MJ and Radha need it more considering the amount of time they have lost with each other (her reference to their loss of blood). She tries to get that love for them but fails but soon she finds that the fruits which were hanging so high suddenly seem much closer to her. Looking again she realises that it is MJ who had brought them close, meaning MJ is offering her that love which seemed unreachable to her. He wants her to take his love for herself. She hesitates to accept it and he then plucks it and gives it to her, indicating total surrender to her. He then showers so much love on her that she gets hurt by it (although unintentionally). The pain is sweet though because she knows he did it out of love and he even apologises for it. The force of his love hits him too, much to Tara's amusement. She then offers his love to him but he wants her to have it and she happily cherishes it.
