so far MJ being stuck in past is concerned, well how can he move on when he clearly knows that his life is about to end?? MJ is sacrificing for his family since he was a kid (we can see except JR and his sisters nobody really loves him). his suffering, pain and his current jail issue cannot go away so fast just coz someone started to love him and support him. tara has done exactly same thing MJ is doing right now. when she married MJ people applauded for her but when MJ is doing the same, he is the bad guy.

As for Tara picking MJ over her mother, she did it because she knew he was innocent and that if his innocence wasn't proven he would be hanged. For her it was between choosing her innocent husbands life, or leaving with her mother, I think anyone in the world in her position would do the same, even MJ. I don't think she would have done that at the beginning if she thought he was a rapist and a murderer.

I also don't think it's wrong of MJ to pick his mother over his wife, as long as she's not asking for something wrong, which we believe she is. People shouldn't really pick between their parents and their partners.

I'm sure in the future we will see MJ showing his love for her.

My gripe is that he values and tries to fulfill his promises to his Monster Mom& selfish MIL, but has scant regard for his wedding vows and his unsaid promise to his Baba. JR promised a life of roses to Tara at the time of her wedding & he based it on his trust on his son.

His love for Tara is obvious to the viewers but i don't like the way he treats her as someone easily dispensable. As you say, needs correction asap.

Agree with others who want, Tara to leave him. IMO she should go & find a feisty Chai ka dukhan wala and live happily ever after making salted tea & chaats.😆 Let MJ fall deeper into depression and hang himself to please everyone.

i DISAGREE with the topic maker. MJ is a very selfless person. He always puts those whom he love first. MJ does care for Tara but he cannot openly show it to her. He doesnt believe he has a future with Tara so he rather send her to her mom so she(Tara) can be happy. For some reason he believes Radha being alive just complicates matters whereas Tara thinks that this new turn of events cud save MJ. Mj still believes he will be going to jail - if not for murder, then for the rape because of some stupid promise made to Nirmala.

MJ is long past being "selfless", he is suicidal. one of the major complaints I have against the character is that his love for the rest of his family does not stop him from showing it to them, only when it comes to tara that he restrains from showing any kind of affection. and now, when he knows that radha is alive, what is stopiing him now from treating tara like she deserves to be treated? radha being alive automatically saves whoever Mj is protecting from the gallows, and as for the rape, Mj was wrong in the first place to cover it up for whatever reason. by taking the blame for the crime, he consciously or inconsciouslybecame complicit in the crime against his best friend! how cn u justify that?! and nimmo didn't even tell Mj the whole story! r u telling me Mj is so desperate for motherly love that instead of getting justice for his best friend, he chose to hide the culprit?

MJ seems to treat the people who love him as a doormat, be it tara( by holding back his love that is rightfully hers) or radha(who used to be the only person who understood him in the whole shekhawat family as baba said) or even baba. he would rather die for the people who don't give two hoots about his well being than live for the people who have made him the centre of their universe, read tara nd baba!

this complicated the situation Radha being Alive but the rape has happened that is done by someone who is his own...
so he had to take that on himself...unless Radha really know that person who commited the crime(how can radha not know who raped her? and when she comes out in the open she wont let the real culprit roam free while MJ takes the blame for it. so there goes Mj's defence for holding back on tara in the present circumstances...)
due to the promise he is bounded by..say has a self-sacrificing or anything but that how he is..
For Tara he get angry on her says anything he feels like...bcoz he somewhere in heart knows Tara is Apni where as he doesnt talk to anyone else like that...
(my point about him treating the ppl who love him as a doormat)jo apna hota ussi se kuch bhi keh sakta hai...maybe take is fore-granted(now u said it!😆)...dont we all take who r our own as mostly them as fore-granted...
(if sm1 was trying to save me I wud show them a lil more respect than Mj shows tara)still he cares for her she was ill he was there for her..when she burnt her dupatta he ran to save...he taken his own name on gun incident...the KC part he came to break her fast...when all day she sat in UC alone in nite he ran back to bring her bk...(he is the kind of person who wud save even a stranger if he happens to be around like he saved tara the first few times he met her, he has taken the blame of a huge crime b4, without even knowing who he is saving, u call it sacrificing, I call it suicidal, one major reason for his coming back for KC was dadu, he might have given it a miss if it wasn't for dadu's safety)
its his majboori he cant show...openly that what MT story looks different...I respect ur view that Mj is a very selfless sacrificing kind of a person, but why this selective sacrificing? why cant he sacrifice a promise to save a criminal when he is all ready to sacrifice the sacred vows he took at his wedding with tara ?

I will tell you, its all about priorities..and tara dznt figure in his priorities, he only remembers her when she is in mortal danger, otherwise he doesn't even notice her. and this was the whole point f my post- that MJ shud start prioritizing his relationship wid tara over other things..after all the name f the show is ek bond ishq, not we are family!😆😆
