Hey guys,
Eagerly waiting for EBI tonight so to keep the forum active, I've made this post. Ok I'm not Hindu so I'm not familiar with Hindu mythology and out of curiousity I decided to find out more about Lord Shiva, Rudra and Tara connection. Then I found a really interesting piece of information regarding MJ's hair.
So wikipedia states that:
Shiva's distinctive hair style is noted in the epithets Jain, "the one with matted hair", and Kapardin, "endowed with matted hair" or "wearing his hair wound in a braid in a shell-like (kaparda) fashion". A kaparda is a cowrie shell, or a braid of hair in the form of a shell, or, more generally, hair that is shaggy or curly.
CVs did a lot of research and they smartly devised a look for MJ. They wanted him to resemble Shiva and also they made sure he looked like an unkempt prisoner. Also very few men can pull off long hair so credit goes to Viraf as well for being so ridiculously dashing and charming in everything they make him wear 😊
