I am not sure what to write maybe just too tired to think straight, dunno!
I will not put down the complete episode but instead just analyze the scenes shown.
Indore The Pricking Thorn & Darkness Shields!
There were some important scenes and yes Tara' s behaviour with Mrityunjay has upset many a viewer.
Firstly the Kala scenes were overdone and led to unnecessary screen space when the same could have been utilized on MriAra. All Kala did was show she was upset that someone had helped her father to escape and confirm whether MJ and Tara were at her mother's.
The scene continues from Friday, and Mrityunjay is completely taken up Tara's mother. What I noticed in this scene is that when her mother remarks "Really, Tara too loves it..and its seems Tara ne apne rang mein rang liya hai aapko." Tara smiles shyly but when she lifts her gaze to him he turns and looks away.
Here we see that Mritjunjay gets an insight as to how a mother indulges her child even though she was married and that Tara herself was a child at heart. But when MJ remarks as to how lucky Tara was to have a mother like her, and Aradhna replies that mothers are this way. His face falls, Tara looks at him understanding his pain and he looks back at her.
So it seems that when it comes to just Tara and him, he refuses to acknowledge HER!
Tara and MJ in their room and she is struggling to lock the door. He notices and goes to help her latch it. Their hands touch she is flustered but he moves away, whilst she is still waiting for his next move. Again he avoids her for the second time.
After giving him Bunty's vest, which was silly on her part considering how broad-shouldered her husband is, he just leaves it on the bed. He looked at the vest and gives a very irritated look. She as a wife would have preferred wherein he would have made an intimate remark. Naah nothing...
Then in a sarcastic tone asks him to rest since he must be tired hinting that it was not easy to go and return back from Indore. He frowns, damn how did this woman know I had been there? She tells him she just wants to know what was the urgency to go there? He recollects his fight with the goons and finding his Grandpa.
He can't seem to get over the whole situation. The condition he found his Grandpa...the goons, the fight..it was all traumatic...Lost in thought she asks him where are you lost...and how can you hold so many secrets inside of you? Tell me why did you go?
In order to hide his secrets he accuses her of spying on him and that she was the one who came to the mandir. She accepts and says she is his wife she can read him well and knows that night too he was going to Indore, the day the cops were after them.
"Rishta kya hai tumhara Indore se?" The all important question. Indore has become an irritating and pricking thorn for Tara. She is clueless to what MJ is upto, firstly he did not tell her he was going to Indore which in itself is not right considering he is braking parole rules. She has seen he is close to Radha's father so of course she is probing and digging for answers. He lies about it saying he never knew who Radha was, so what conclusion should she draw to it of her own? It's more of jealousy than anything else. We as a viewer are aware what MJ has gone through but how would Tara know?
MJ has flashbacks of how he saved his Grandpa and the time the brooch was pinned and bestowed upon him with pride by his Grandpa . The keepsake has become a legacy as Misty has beautiful described in her post. The bandana never leaves his hand all through the rescue mission. I hope his Dadaji were to ask him about it. Would love to hear Mrityunjay's reply.
She begins her questioning again and this irritates him so shouts back that what have you got to do where I go what I do? She tells him to lower his voice as he was in His Sasural. (Faceplam)
But then she notices that he was very disturbed, very distant, lost in thoughts, dejected kind of so asks, "Hope you are fine." She did not leave him alone, she comes and sits beside him, hesitatingly places her hand over his shoulder saying, "Listen it is important that you share your pain, and tell me what is it."
He gets all the more upset and pushes her away, "Stop questioning me. And just leave me alone."
She fails to understand why he is hiding things from her? A perfect defense mechanism route that MJ is using with Tara.
Tara says, "I have never seen him in so much of anguish." But what was the reason for this pain? Life mein Life Partner ki dil ki baat nahi samje toh kya kia?"
See when the UC was burnt down, he was hurt over a loss of something and had cried bitterly. His pain was visible. Here there are no tears...instead he is more disturbed, in deep anguish over something that has happened. His pain is not visible to her and it has left her confused and also hurt that he refuses to share it with her.
Once again Tara notices that MJ is overly nice to her mother, whilst he ignores her completely. He opts to finish grinding the daal and even went onto brag that he loves to cook and makes amazing jalebis. Mother and daughter both impressed.
Here Tara behaves like a typical 19 year old wife, who is now even jealous that he is nice to everyone but her.
They leave but before going she decides to teach him a lesson by pulling off the fuse and leaving him in darknes. Of course her childishness has unplugged the looming danger. This also makes things difficult for the goons to aim at their target with darkness creating shadows and hiding his identity. Unknowingly Tara cushioned him in a shield of darkness and left.
I loved the Precap Tara prays for the wellbeing of her husband whilst he is fighting for his life.
P.S. And where is the khidki (window) in that room? Did anyone notice? 😕
