Till now we know Jayraj as a manipulative man who wants to get his son charged of rape and murder at any cost.
Looked like a villain straight out of a 1990s Bollywood flick right?
But as the story progressed, we saw many more facets of his character. His adamancy on getting Tara to be Mrityunjay's bride was noticeable and appreciable due to the fact that he favoured her for her good nature and honesty.
He could have easily moved on to find a more cultured poor girl in need for money but what he saw in her was her proactivity to do almost anything for her family and expected he would get the same for his son as well because he knew that Mrityunjay doesn't deserve the misery he has been through and is going through.
We also saw him face disapproval from his wife and other son but he stood by his decision inspite of the fact that it appears Mrityunjay is not his own son at the first place.
His scene with Tara in yesterday's epi just took my heart away. It was apparent that he is not just concerned about Mrityunjay's release but also considerate about Tara, a bit beyond their commitment of the give-and-take.
This gives me a vague idea that Jayraj is very familiar with the truth but is not able to reveal it because it probably involves a family member. He attempts to find alternate ways to get Mrityunjay out. Very considerate, but again prefers his own kith and kin more than an adopted child. Else there would be no reason for him to find an alternate way out, right?
This also makes me think that he is ready to cross limits for Mrityunjay but not every.
And since the show is loaded with suspense, who knows we may get to see a completely changed side of his in future?
What do you think about him????
