^^^ No, but the makers of this serial are could participate in the quiz show Gyan Guru and display their brilliance there. After all, they are the ones who had the ingenious idea of Balarama doing a Shiv puja when the Ganesh puja didn't work out as planned, Krishna offering a feather from his crown to the Ganesh murti while he was en route to rescue Rukmini (not to mention his not removing his shoes while going to greet Ganesh), his giving his Vaishnava roop to all and sundry who wanted it, and so on.

On a more serious note, no, Krishna idols were not worshipped during his lifetime. While Krishna knew about his own divinity, only a few people other than him knew about it, and that too, at different times, not from the beginning. Kunti, for instance, knew about it only after he saved Parikshit, Sudama I don't think ever knew about it, nor did Krishna's kinsmen. Arjun himself may have known about it either after the Gita got delivered and Krishna displayed his vishal roop, or he may have known about it during their adventures when Krishna took him to Vaishnav dham to bring back the Brahman's 11 or so children. The Kauravas may have known about it when he displayed his virat roop to them, although Bheeshma may have known about it earlier.

But otherwise, it's somewhat strange to think that Krishna's divinity was known, for instance, by the common citizens of Karusa, Kashi, etc, but not by his enemies, such as Paundrak, Jarasandha, Sishupala, Shalva, Dantavatra, et al.

P.S. I normally don't nitpick over spellings, but when you write 'idle', it means 'not doing anything', which ain't the meaning in this case. What you meant was idol, which means statue, or image

Queen dead, Sudama expelled from kingdom

Udhav & Krishna were watching Sudama, and Udhav tells Krishna that if the queen Rupamati isn't saved, then the consequences will be dire for Sudama. Krishna tells him that he can't stop Vidhi ka vidhan, and the queen's time is up, and the result of the sins of king Virbhadra. He tells him about the consequences of him upsetting the natural order of things.

Sudama takes leave of the king, who warns him that if he doesn't save him, then Sudama won't be saved by the king. Later, the Chakradhar-like priest visits Susheela and begs her to persuade Sudama to pray to Krishna to save the queen. Susheela is unmoved, and the priest begs her to do it at least for the sake of her kids.

Sudama goes begging from door to door, but is rebuffed by everyone for refusing to pray for the queen. He arrives home, and disappoints everybody by showing up empty. The kids start munching on the banana leaf plates, making Sudama & Susheela weep. They pray to Krishna, who lights up their diya.

Udhav begs Krishna to help Sudama, or else, his stubbornness is hurting his family. Krishna tells him that that's the choice Susheela & her kids made for themselves due to their great upbringing.

Next day, Sudama turns up @ Virbhadra's palace and asks him to accept the inevitable for the queen, who breathes her last. Virbhadra is furious and tells Sudama that he's from now on banished from his kingdom, w/ his family.

^ 👍🏼 For the Update 😊.

This story is going on endlessly!!!! 😔

I was really angry 😡 in the scene of the children eating the banana leaf. Such exaggerations are not at all needed! 👎🏼

Last time also, the children were punished very strictly by Susheela, which made me angry. 😡

Don't have any idea about the mssg of the story 😕

Yesterday, I turned to Sati's dance in DkDM, during the break 😃. lol 😆, DBSK Creatives are successful in decreasing the number of the audience 😔

Today, I missed the first half of the episode. Second half - Sudama & family have encountered Krishna's new clone - a Rastafarian chief called Janardhan (if you saw his hairstyle, you'd know). He tested Sudama's devotion by asking him to put his hand into a basket filled w/ deadly cobras, and stops him @ the last moment as Sudama is about to, and then announces to everybody that this brahmin is a gyani and would from now on be his guest.

So Krishna now has to maintain another imaginary setting somewhere for Sudama's benefit.

Exit question - does Krishna have nothing else to do in life than obsess over Sudama?

In the 1st half, Sudama listens to the insulting/ disrespecting words of the villagers and also gets beaten by them as they consider him the reason behind the demise of the Queen of the state. He comes home in a wretched state. His wife also tells him that those people are right. He may feel bad for asking any help from Krishna for his family, but he can definitely do it for others, then it won't be considered wrong. Then Sudama tells them that they'll have to leave their house.

They start their journey, in a tired state they all come near a lake to have some water. Suddenly some soldiers come there and tell them that this is the lake of King Janardan, and they can't have the water without his permission. So they all go to meet the king. Rest is mentioned by Vrish in the post above.

Oh yes, in between, JV tells Krishna about the poor condition of the lives of Sudama's family and Krishna answers that either Sudama like it or not, He will keep on doing something to make their life a bit easier.

- Now my comments :- It seems that the Creatives won't let us carry on with this show 😔. How could they come up with the idea of a 'Pirates of the Caribbean' type look in Vishal???? 😲 I was so irritated!!!!! 😡 As soon as they took the name of 'Janardan' (i.e.- a name of Vishnu), I guessed that it must be another roop of Krishna 😃 and yes!!!! OMG! How weird was that! 🤣

From the action of Krishna in DBSK, it looks like no other incidents (like those of MB ) are happening (simultaneously) in the whole Aarayavart, He is no more Concerned about the 'whole creation', except Sudama. 😆

Actually I stopped watching this show but I had to check VIshals new look..it was hilarious😆
I think with Sudamas endless track SP is proving that DBSK is different than other serials on Shri Krishna. Maybe these tracks were part of the concept and everything else was just to see if TRPs are influenced.

Janardhan is another name for Krishna, not Vishnu, and Arjun addresses him that way several times in MB. To use that name for a fictional chief and give him a Rastafarian hairstyle was just annoying.

Anyway, no comments anymore. Anything interesting happened today?

No, the same story is going on. During the time of dinner, as Sudama offered the 'bhog' for Krishna, the same 'bhog' appeared in the plate of King Janardan. Sudama understood that He is indeed Shri Krishna. So he refused to accept the dinner (and also told his family to refrain from eating). After paying their respect to Krishna, they start their journey again.

Even after 4 days, they could not find anything to eat 😔, then they reach a nagri, where every family is well established. But they don't have any idea about 'Brahman Dharma' (of 'begging'), lol 😃. So they insult Sudama and Mohan, when they go for begging. Last sc shows Mohan running with food and some persons following him (and probably referring to him as a thief).

- Mohan accompanied his father spontaneously, I loved that! His character showed nice Humility yesterday. ⭐️

Sudama's action of not accepting the dinner offered by King Janardan, (when they are without food for 2 days 😔 ), was too much to tolerate 😕

200!

A brief recap of what happened today:

Mohan is chased by some villagers and finds his way back to Sudama & Susheela. The villagers accuse him of stealing some rotis, which he confesses. Susheela slaps him, and Sudama stops her. Sudama tries to apologize to them, but Susheela stops him and forces Mohan to apologize. The villagers are disgusted w/ them and ask them to leave.

Later, Susheela goes ballistic @ Sudama over his faith in Krishna, given that even the values that they used to cherish have been gone. She screams @ Mohan for offering to accompany their father in all situations, if they are unable to handle this. She takes the Krishna statue & wants to get rid of it, and as usual, Sudama is a basketcase.

Krishna tells Jambavati that he is going to save Sudama now b4 the latter hurts himself.

Next morning, Susheela doesn't find Sudama next to her, and overhears some villagers talking about a body found. She runs to the embankment, and forces herself to see the face of the body. It's not Sudama. She runs back to the tree, and finds Sudama there, falls @ his feet & apologizes.

Later, while the kids are asleep in a field. Sudama & Susheela discuss the next course of action. Didn't hear what they said, since I don't doubt that it was as inane as the serial has been since Krishna knows when.
