Yeah, this is one major howler in what they've said so far - these events took place before Krishna moved his people to Dwaraka, not after, as shown here. But at the start of the serial, 16 wars have already taken place, and the 17th was the one that involved Kalyavan.
But they're showing Krishna's kingdom as an island already. 🤔

hi this is vanadhi ,
actually there is another sweet storyline about rukmani wedding . It is said that krishna came to know kalyava (who is from Mongolian clain as per assumption by researchers) is marching towards mathura ,to save his people krishna discuss with the king ugrasena for permanent departure for the safety of people . in mean time Rukmani suyamvara invitation does not come to mathura since they have not declared any one as yuvaraj there . since there is more grandsons of king dwels in mathura before krishna

like chitrakethu, prahipalan ,etc
here chitrakethu is not interested in ruling but the later does .
so while discussing about rukmani issue
krishna ask prahipala (ph)to take yuvaraj title and attend suyamvar for welfare rukmani(since god knows his inner desire)

ph: no all are playwriting that she loves only u then why can i take a risk to marry her and get against jarasand who is supporting sesupal in this mela..
so krishna is well known about ph 's physical ability to fought againts any one
he himself declare indirectly to kidnap rukmani
and get permission for departure to dwarakka a new island ...

hence they construct a newcity there with the help of visvakarma by naradh intension
then all the people are amused about its wealth and placed themselves there comfortably

krishna feels, after seeing luxury people here have no feeling about own land etc so there is a rate for every feeling as a mass.
then kalyava comes and krishna face him alone without revealing his identity ...
then jaradsand came know about kalayava vadh as revenge he uses rukmani suyamvar ...
later what happened all we know😎

Thanks for the wonderful update Vrish👏
In this serial they depict Krishna as the ruler of Dwaraka from the very beginning. But Jarasandh attacked Madhura several times. He was not able to attack Krishna after he moved to Dwaraka because it was an island. And that is why Jarasandh mocks Krishna and calls him a coward who hide in the island afraid of Jarasandh; when Krishna, Arjuna and Bhim went to Jarasandh to have a fight.

Thanks Vrish.

I didn't get to watch the first epi. I wanted to watch it but got stuck due to some work. I guess as this serial is new Imagine will be repeating the entire week's repeat. Hope I'll get to watch it then.

I watched the second episode...Rukmini's entry was a bit weird in m POV.
Btw what do you guyz think about Balraam...I wasn't so impressed or maybe it's too early to pass a comment😳
I liked Revathi though. what's the full name of the actress who plays Revathi? I think I've seen her in some serial or ad or something but I just don't remember where?

So our Duryodhan turns into Jarasandh...😆 he's a great actor!👍🏼

Thanks for the update Vrish, I love your signature interactive format 😆 I picked Gauri as Revat - loved her as Meera's mom, and the devout mood that came from expressions as she listened to Krishna's flute coupled with the music itself) were the highlight of the episode for me.

Agree about the bizarre explanation for Kalyavan vadh... Sagar Pictures needs to work on bringing in dialogue writers who are at least as good as their casting directors. This is not the first time they're putting uncharacteristic words in the mouth of a divine character.

Also agree about wanting a more thorough and elaborate introduction to Vidarbh instead of throwing us in the middle a dance sequence at a random temple. As Khushi said, nothing wrong with Priya as Rukmini but to make her dance her way onto the screen - or dance at all, even - was pretty weird, not to mention badly choreographed. And yeah, exactly, who told her about the Gopis' Katyayani fast 😲 That being said I did like Priya, her dialogue delivery sounded really sincere - especially at the end of the scene.

Sidenote - we were talking about who we were hoping to see as Rukmini before they showed Priya? Last week I was thinking Mahi Vij from LTL. In fact since I wasn't confident in Vishal either, I was rooting for her real life fiance Jay Bhanushali as Krishna. On that, I've changed my mind 😆

And the curiosity as to where Ugrasen, VasuDevaki, and Rohini are... way to read my mind 🤓 Right when Krishna was saying "waaahhh, I guess nobody loves me", I was desperately hoping that Devaki and/or Vasudev would be introduced - that would have been sooo sweet, especially given the way they've been sidelined and/or grossly misrepresented in other recent productions. (note to the uninitiated - I kinda sorta like these characters). Alas it didn't happen yet, but if this show gives me even one good scene between them, I will be all praises for it forever even if they butcher everything else. Ok not really, but I will be really really grateful ☺️

But the bhabhi-devar scene was the highlight of the episode. Gauri was adorable and very into character in Meera, and the same was true here. Her expression while she heard his flute was priceless. I would probably even like her as Rukmini, the bigger the role the better because she is a great fit for mythos! I still like Hemant as Balram, his anger is quiet and contained but I think I like him that way, he conveyed more hurt than anger while punching the primitive punching bags (those were weird, wonder if they really existed back in the day) and I think it's better that way - let his real anger be reserved for real villains, whenever he's upset with his own Krishna this is a better way for him to show it. But the headband needs to go, it looks really girly and...just bad.

The precap, I'm thinking will probably be part of a flashback. Or hoping, rather, because many viewers are probably still disoriented with the jumpiness of the screenplay and need them to backtrack and cover the Jarasandh issue in more detail. If it's not, then the DVD editors will have a LOT of work to do putting this show in order!

Thanks a lot for the update, Vrish!🤗 I just finished watching the second episode and this really helped.
I know many if not most people here like Hemant as Balram, but I still don't like the guy that much.😳 He never smiled once since the first episode and he always looked grumpy. I would have preferred him to have an amused expression during the whole Kalyavan track, since he was supposed to know Krishna was going to win and that Kalyavan was fighting a losing battle...this Balram doesn't seem to have much faith in his younger bro.
I too thought Rukmini's entrance was not well placed, but I really like the voice of Priya. It sounds dignified and graceful, and I'm excited about seeing her chemistry with Vishal. I think this lead pair might grow on me very soon.😃
But yes, this show is moving way too fast and not enough is explained. Many people know the beginning stories of Krishna Leela, but not many know after Dwaraka Nirmaan so the Sagars should explain all the small details more clearly. They are assuming that the viewers are well-learned about Krishna's adult life.
But it's only the second episode so I hope the pace will become right before the week ends...there is still time to show the other characters at Dwaraka like Vasudev, Devaki, Ugrasen, etc, so don't lose hope people!
Also, since this show is called Dwarikadeesh, I'm thinking the Sagars are following the Vaishnava sources of Krishna Leela, which do have Krishna ruling Dwaraka himself and not anyone else. It is in these Vaishnava sources that Krishna is also recognized as God by everyone, and in the serial, the people of Dwaraka address him as 'Bhagwan Shri Krishna', much like RS's SK did.
I have a question though...when Krishna moved everyone to Dwaraka, did he literally move every single person, including Ugrasen? I had always thought that Ugrasena and the other Yadava chiefs stayed back at Mathura. But that does not make sense, does it, since Ugrasen would have no one to rule once Krishna took everyone away?😳😆

Oh, and before I forget to mention, I LOVED the Krishna-Revathi interaction, so cute and natural.😍 It really did remind me of Sita-Lakshman from Ramayan, but oh well...why can't Krishna be like Lakshman since he's the younger brother in this avatar?😉 I never saw Meera, so I don't know Gauri from that serial, but she's really good in this one and I'm looking forward to more Krishna-Revathi scenes in the future, especially after Krishna's marriage to Rukmini when he brings her to Dwaraka. I can't wait to see Revathi's reaction and her excitement.
