If one ever tires of this plot on Sony TV, there's always the make-up to watch out for on its other shows. All the performers on this channel have that peculiar air-brushed look. It's like watching them through a film of fine powder. Then there are those thrice- repeated shots.. just in case you missed it the first time. Anyway, that was between 10 and 11. I had to switch to Star Movies at 11…never miss Lost. The script keeps evolving, which means anything can happen. Wonder how Claire (mother of Aaron and girlfriend of Charlie finally wormed a kiss out of her last night) displays perfect make-up at all times. Mascara-ed lashes and glossy lips! Kool. Went over to Virrudh (which has a repeat telecast at 11). Now this soap has an excel- lent cast which doesn't have the airbrushed look…except for Sushant Singh…who needs to visit Nalini's Salon in Bandra to style his hair. Achint Kaur is brilliant! A drunken woman is actually likeable and evokes sym- pathy. How about a Devdasni, someone? Now, if only she'd stop wearing that bright red lipstick.
