Couple of things here -
First, we must appreciate that Radz is the youngest of the lot. If you remember when Arjun first asked her if she loves Saral she said she doesn't know what love is. Then she got married to Arjun for all the wrong reasons (from their relationship perspective). She now knows she potentially loves Arjun. while Arjun has been giving indications that he is a good person and cares for her deeply - including can potentially stop the revenge for her - he has been conveying his feelings indirectly while also telling her this relationship is fake, that it is better for her to get out of this etc.
Lets also not forget that when it comes to romance, Radz has always been on the backfoot.
I think while as viewers we might want her to proclaim her love based on indirect hints and subtle comments by Arjun, the reality is that it is not easy to put yourself out there and accept that you love someone when you aren't all that sure about whether the other person feels the same thing. And sadly, despite all of the empowerment, women do feel more shy still today about being the first to admit it.
If Arjun had come out and said, I love you and if there is any reason beyond sam that you don't want this divorce, tell me now and i will stop it all. She might have had more food for thought. If nothing else she would have not had worried about hasiyat and bean more clearer about her Himmat issue,
But looking from Arjun point of view, he hasn't really seen love other that what he feels has come from Nandu. He has never risked his heart and is understandably scared of coming out in open and getting her straight now. indirect no - he will still be hurt but he can convince himself - straight no when he loves her so much is going to be tough. at the same time, he feel he doesn't have the permission to go out in the open and take the charge either - with the sword of revenge and destruction hanging on his head.
all in all - yes as a viewer i would have loved for radz to not just understand his indirect message, but to accept it and come out in the open and admit her love. but in real life, not too many of us in the same position would have accepted it.
she doesn't want to in a way go to arjun walking on the glass pieces of sam's heart. it was different when she was doing it to protect sam - even though sam didn't know about it. but this one would be a situation where she knows she is doing it for herself - and she feels despite her feelings going after friends love is still now...even if it means heartbreak for her own self.
she also has some complexes about herself...after hearing all the small town girl, behnji comments.
i just hope the CVs make it worth our while ultimately when the two actually accept their love.
