Before I start, I want to say... I have always rooted for NeSam and ArDhika. I fell in love with Neil and Sam's characters... It is sad that their characters have had to take the brunt to make Radhika and Arjun's characters shine... Please note, characters, not actors.
Sam was a character I immediately connected with... Her tears were mine... Her joy was mine. Initially she was written beautifully. I could not wait to see her character rise from the trauma... To learn to accept and face the consequences... And to rise above it. I thought that was going to be her journey... To overcome her insecurities and fears.
I thought Sam and Radhika's friendship would lead to Sam no longer running, but learning to deal with issues. She had a friend who Molly coddled her and let her get away with stuff, Neil. She needed a friend who was grounded, who would tell her... No, stay and face the consequences , fight, Radhika.
Sadly this did not happen once cvs decided on ArDhika. Her character along with others got compromised. Here I blame a change in the creative team. Obliviously the people with the initial vision were no longer in charge!
Many have issues about Sam from yesterday's episode...
How could she remove Neil's hand... How could she accept Arjun... Blah blah...😆
Sam removing Neil's hand and accepting Arjun's was all to justify ArDhika marriage. Sadly Neil and Sam's characters have taken a brunt on many occasions for ArDhika. I do not understand why Sam, having doubts, would want to go ahead with the marriage. She is today's woman, she should have been like, "I have doubts, justifiable, convince me I am wrong and maybe we can set another date."
We have never seen her fall in love with Arjun, they have hardly spent any time together, to form such a bond... So was genuinely surprised that she was still willing to marry him. I guess, her turning... I would like to say grey here... Is happening. Yesterday it was very clear, Sam views Neil as only a friend. I see nothing wrong with her releasing herself from Neil's hold.
I have always feared that NeSam may not happen, ever since they introduced Sam's sister. I felt if cvs were planning a realisation track for Sam, they would use a temporary character... A friend, a new work colleague... Not a sister, who becomes a permanent character. My fears got realised yesterday... Cvs please, prove me wrong.ðŸ˜
Many have questioned the depth of Sam's friendship with Radhika. I actually question Radhika's friendship... Whenever things were going wrong in her life, she never chose to confide in Sam. There are friends that are Give each other space and are not in your face demanding to know, who don't always rush to ask what is going... Instead they respect ones choice of privacy and wait until the person is ready to share. Friendship is not about imposing oneself into another's life... It is about being there when needed... It is about a friend knowing that when she is ready to talk about a problem, her friend will be there.
I say this, because I such friendships... Where u don't hesistate to call someone.. Or go to their home after midnight. Where you don't hesitate to block your Friday's for over a year and dedicate it to a friend who needs you... and yet respect them by giving them space when they need it... And you respect them by waiting until they are ready to share their problem.
I don't know if many have noticed a change in the plot... Lately there is a sense of realism... I have a feeling there has been another change in the creative team... In the writing. Hope I am right😳😆
