Wasn't Nandini supposed to be dead?

Hi...a clarification needed.

Wasn't it said in one of the earlier episodes that Nandini had died which is why Arjun was seeking revenge from Samrat? Did they change the story midway or am I missing something here? Can anyone plz clarify? I am not sure as I may have missed some episodes or maybe I may have muted/skipped Nandini related parts coz I can't stand that woman imo

No nothing like dt was said..It was we,i think who supposed dt maybe she died since he has her flashbacks and is so adammant on da revenge..Only her flashbacks were being shown thru Arjun's memories.
It wud be more logical if she was dead,and Arjun was being guided by her ghost for da revenge..🤢
Hope I cud explain a bit..😳

Thanks Tehsina for the response. I don't know but I remember seeing that bit where it was said she was dead...may be in one of Arjun's FBs...but I don't remember the episode.

My feeling is, this being conceptualised as a youth show they may not have initially thought of Nandini coming and playing a vamp. Their idea might have been to show Arjun avenging her death and getting reformed in the process by Radhika.

But since trps were low they may have decided to introduce a plotting conspiring vamp in the form of Nandini just like saas bahu shows. It's another matter that this ploy didn't work and ended up only derailing the story

Just wish we knew what the original story planned by producers was and trps didn't play a role in spoiling the quality of a show like this :(

Arjun did look rather shell-shocked when he saw nandini at the hospital, as though he was seeing a ghost. strange he never asked where she had been all these years. And she seemed to know that Arjun had planned everything by himself. How? Via telepathy??

Also, did anyone notice that the nandini in the Fbs is a different person...much older and scarier.

They may not have planned on finding an actress for it but changed their mind at a later stage for trps like someone here mentioned.

I thought the need for Trps was over since the viewers had to fill a form stating the package they were choosing. This way, the Tv channels were supposed to get an idea of how many are watching their shows, thus minimising their dependence on ads.

I too think Nandini was added later to shore up the trps. Wonder what the original storyline was supposed to be

It was in that episode where arjun goes to nandinis house when he was giving to Sam for rent. He clearly mentioned that Nandu had died because she killed herself.
