" Kya huaa Arjun? " Samaira asked looking frustrated towards Arjun. It's been two years of their marriage & the love between them has just vanished. Arjun has become mechanical. ~One & half years back~
" Arjun, yeh kyaa krrahae ho tum " Nandini asked frustrarted to Arjun. " Tumhari aur Samaira ki shaadi huae 6 mahinae hogayae...aur abhi tak tumnae kuch bhi nahi kiya hai " Nandini asked him angrily...
Arjun just stared at the punching bag hanging in front of him & answered " Jaldi he krdunga Nandini di " he replied a lost look in his eyes.
" Kab krogae Arjun...pichle 4 mahino se yahi sunrahi hun...dekho..." She said pulling him a bit his shoulders "...koi dikkat hai toh batao...koi problem hai kyaa...legally koi problem hai kyaa..." she asked him " Mai madad krungi tumhari...jab tk bataogae nahi mai kaise krungi tumhari madad..."
" Koi problem nahi hai Di...mujhe bas thoda aur waqt chahiyae.." he said freeing himself from her hold & moving towards his punchbag
Nandini stared at him, something was amiss, her Arjun would never steel eyes from her.
She pulled him again & asked in a stern voice to him " Koi...adchaan...?? "
That's it...something snapped inside Arjun...'RADHIKA' he thought & he lost his cool
" Adchaan...ek he thi aur woh toh raastae se hathgayi " Arjun said in an emotionless voice but his eyes betrayed.
Nandini smiled a bit & said " ha woh toh hai...par bechhari ka dukaan jalgyaa Hrishikesh mai...galat hua..." she said, oblivious to the fact that Arjun was staring at her back with bloodshot eyes & killer look, his blood boiled with rage...HE WAS BOILING WITH RAGE.
" Khair...humme usse kya..adchaan toh hath gai na raste se..." She gave a sigh of relief...When she heard the noise of shattering glass. She turned around to see Arjun holding the side of the broken glass table beside him, a big glass shard pierced in his hand.
"ARJUN" she shouted & ran towards him & went to hold his hand but he just pulled away " yeh kya krrahae ho Arjun tum..lao hath dikhao apna..." she moved to hold him but he once again pulled back..
" Usski dukkan mai aag aap he ne lagvai thi na? " he asked in a dead stern voice.
" Yeh kyaa...kyaa keh..rahae ho tum..." she stammered " hosh mai toh ho ... tum ull jhalool bate chodo aur hath dikhao apna " She moved toward him again
" Batao Di...usski dukaan mai aag aap he ne lagvai thi na? " he asked again dead stern but impatiently.
" HA...HA...Maine he lagvai thi aag...aur koi chara he nahi dikha mujhe usse tumhari zindagi se bahar nikalne ke liye... " Nandini said, she was about to say something else when Arjun Snapped at her her...no...Shouted at her...
" BAS NANDINI DI...BAS...BOHUT HOGAYA, AB MAI AAPKE LIYE KUCH NAHI KRUNGA... " Arjun shouted
Nandini stood shocked.
Arjun continued his rant " Aaj tk sirf aapke liye jia hun aapne jo kaha woh kiya...bachpan se ye he sochta raha ki meri Nandu ke sath galat hua hai...aur gusse me har waqt yahi sochta rehta tha ki kaise iss baat ka badla lu...lekin mai baccha tha magar aap... " he said pointing towards Nandini " aap toh badi thi na...samjdaar thi na...mujhe samjhane ke bajayae mujhe humesha ke liye badle ke andhere khai mai ghop diya "
" Jab bhi Samaira ko dekhta hun toh baar baar yaad ata hai ki mere aur Samrat Khanna mai koi anatr ( difference ) nahi hai, unhone aapko dhoka dia aur mainae Sam ko " Tears strolled down his cheeks uncontrollably.
" Ye kya kehrahae ho tum Arjun? " Nandini asked slowly still shocked from his outburst.
" Ha Di...Ab mai aapke liye kuch nahi krunga " He stated
" Nahi, tum aisa nahi krsakte Arjun... " She moved towards Arjun holding him by shoulders, she cried her usual rant of her tears, her insult, her broken heart...
" Nahi Di " He said slowly pulling him out of her grasp " Ab kuch nahi, aap ki wajah se aaj ye sab hua...aapne chaar-chaar zindagian barbad ki hai...aap ki wajah mai iss anchahe rishtey mai bandha hu...Neil jo Samaira ko woh khushi de sakta jo mai nahi de sakta hai...jiss khushi ki woh hakdar hai..aaj bs usski zindagi mai ek dost bankae rehgaya..pal pal marta hai woh Di...jaisae mai marraha hu yaha Di...aapki wajah se Radhika yaha se gayi ... aapki wajah se Di...aapki wajah se MERI RADHIKA MUJHSE DOOR HUI HAI DI!!! " he shouted at her.
There was a deafening silence. They heard a car screech to stop outside.
" Arjun " they heard Samira's voice calling. She was back.
" Arjun, Kyaa hua? " Samaira stood on the doorway holding shopping bags " Nandini di, aap ro kyun rahi hai? " She moved towards her concerned that's when she noticed Arjun's bloody hand " ARJUN " she exclaimed, shopping bags fell from her hand. " Khoon " she exclaimed & started to nurse him.
" Tum kal ki aayi ladki ke liye mujhse ladogae Arjun...mera kaha nahi krogae...? " Nandini questioned him.
Sam stood shocked 'What was happening here?' before she could say anything Nandini spoke again " aakhri baar puch rahi hun...jawab do mujhe "
" Nahi. " came Arjun's voice stern & definite.
Nandini walked out in anger. " Bye "
" NANDINI DI...NANDINI DI... " Sam tried stopping her but to no avail.
" Arjun, huaa kya? " Samaira questioned him but she got only a painful wince as a reply.
~Flashback ends~
Arjun just shrugged her away giving an excuse of an headache. Sam looked at the slumped retreating back of a man whom she once loved.
Samaira sat on the terrace wondering about her life. Trying to figure it out. It was at these times when she missed her Chashni the most. She would have an answer ready for any of her problem. A tear trickled down her cheek. Nobody knew where she disappeared. Nobody has seen her after the sangeet practice two years back.
She had tried searching for her but to no avail. Although she had a nagging doubt that Arjun knew something about her because whenever she mentioned her name something snapped inside him, his face would contort with rage & hurt.It was as if she was touching a wound in his heart.
Samaira stared st the engagement ring in her hand. She still doesn't know why she is wearing it. It was of no sense. For outsiders they were a perfect couple but she knew the truth of their relationship. They even haven't touched each other for the past two years.
She sighed where was the love they had before marriage?
Was that even love ? she wondered.
She thought of finally knowing what is in her heart. Chashni had once said " Jab bhi dil mai koi kashmakash ho, apne aankhae band krlena, jo bhi tumharae dil mai hai woh tumhare aankhon ke saamne hoga"
Sam took a deep breath & closed her eyes.

He was making wierd faces to just make her smile.
Flash!
He was waving his hand menacingly in the middle of the road. Shirtless.
Flash!
He cleaned her running nose while she just sat & cried.
Flash!
She opened her eyes in shock. 'Idiot!' she whispered to herself.
