I am still catching glimpses of the show because it is like a car wreck. You know you shouldn't look but you can't help yourself. 😆. Besides there is nothing else on TV. May be when the Raymond remake starts, I will have something to really enjoy.

There is no need to bring in Radhika to this discussion and play the "she asked for it" card. Yes, she gets on everyone's nerves but that's immaterial as far as this discussion is concerned. The point of this discussion is to understand the primordial difference between an innocuous jock like Saral and a vindictive sociopath like Arjun and how the CVs make use of the HAWTNESS of the hero as an excuse to deem his deeds heroic. But it does somehow bring out the difference b/w Arjun and Saral, which is the topic in question. In Arjun's case, she is at least partially responsible for provoking his behavior. In Saral's case, he's just micromanaging her b'cos she's his fiancee. But yeah, had Arjun been the one insisting that Radhika wear X or Y, people wouldn't have reacted the same way. Although maybe Arjun wouldn't have been shown as micromanaging her had she been his fiancee.

However, one thing about Saral just doesn't add up - a guy who insists that his fiancee stick to just saris and not wear Western dresses is not gonna insist that she take alcohol - quite the contrary. Usually, people who are okay w/ spouses taking alcohol are also okay w/ spouses wearing dresses, and conversely, people who're not okay w/ dresses would recoil at the idea of their better halves having alcohol. The CVs wanted to show Radhika in a sari on an occasion when she had no reason to wear one, and so made Saral the vehicle w/ which to force her. 🤢

My favorite US shows have closed down shop. Barney Stinson waved goodbye last year. Law and Order lost Cragan after they lost Stabler the year before.

I am watching Mad Men but on NetFlix.

Watching GoT is a problem with young kids at home.

Besides, Raymond would be perfect for India. I would watch that.

U shouldn't hope too much for Raymond - High chances of it being turned into a Saas Bahu show

U people are doing so much serious discussions.
But Channels & Serial's creative Directors are not at all bothered about these things.
They dont even think that rational way.
According to them, TV audiences standards are not that high.
Many Top rated Dramas, showed Black magics & what not.
Its just time-pass.
But main point is MMZ is now boring.
Infact, Actors also dont take this things seriously.Its a job for most of them.
