See it happens in real life also we actually take ppl for granted with the belief that they wont leave us n sam many times expresses neil's importance to him u remember bonfire scene she remembered neil nly so she does realise but she never got a chance to show it d nxt day neil proposed she went to him n cleared her feelings Also said she will leave arj if neil wants isse zyada kya importance de sakte hai?

Yeah, she does give importance to him as a friend. I think he is her '4 a.m problem' person. I meant she will realise that her feelings are more than friendship, 'cause she literally wants him by her side all the time- not necessarily just as a friend. She will grow to realise she might love him as well. The fact that she said she would leave Arjun for Neil shows that maybe he just means something else to her.
