He was overshadowed by a deep sense of boding. Had it been any other day, he surely would have brushed off the dull-witted pointless intuition. Afterall, when a big boulder hinders your path and eventually gets sidetracked, you don't follow it as it tumbles downhill. That is the most moronic thing a man can do. And Radhika was a big boulder, sidetracked. Guess who plays the moronic chap.
The headlights came on as he flicked the switch and released a breath in suppressed exasperation. The thought of leaving her alone, estranged, clawed at his insides disturbingly. All he wanted was to forget those shiny kohl-lined curious eyes but his insides had grown to tendencies of her, clinging to everything he opposed. That lithe delicate frame, the wet tunic top clutched to her body like an adhesive, those curves dilating his helpless pupils and those luscious pink lips. If he let go of his feral, dark side all he wanted to do was...
Arjun! He chided himself for imagining the worst. It was as mechanical as ever, he didn't want to be labelled as murderer so he saved her. Thats it. One less drowning girl was one more headache for the world but still. And her slap was all he needed to fuel his hatred or rather assumed hatred. And fueled it was. Upto the point that he drove mindlessly out of the hilly terrain leaving her behind. But maybe she had this telepathic ways to bind his head, infuriate him with those smiling eyes until he maneuvered the steering wheel to full 360 degrees and drove off towards the omnipresent boulder of his life.
And then there was that moment in lift, as he pinned her hands above her head, the dirty imageries slide showing him all the possibilities thereafter. The faint touch of her chest to his, her softness inviting him to just crash her plumpness to him. Not so gentlemanly outcomes whirled in his head. Radhika.. How would the diminished moan of ecstasy sound from his lips or rather her delicious ones?
The fantasies were at their peaks but something snapped inside. Nandini. No! He wouldn't. He just can not. The reproach was painful, he struck the wheel hard and geared up angrily, not releasing a dark silhouette waving its hand sideways. A moment of realisation and the shadow launched itself in the middle of the road. He was sure the screeching sound of him applying the brakes could be heard all across the western ghats.
He cursed loudly and got out of the SUV, slamming hard the god forsaken door because he had realised who that outlines belonged to. Radhika. No wonder the boulder was back.
"You." He refused to get agitated, as he had observed that she achieved some unconventional high out of it.
"Sir, I am s..ssorry. I shouldn't have slapped you. Dadaji says-"
"Do you think I effing care what your dadaji says. Get into the car."
Her surprised features were his favourite he decided. That slightly open mouth. Those doe like eyes, widening as he held open the door for her.
"Get inside Radhika." he could feel her shiver as he whispered in her ears, her delicate self propping up the seat and terrified little hands clutching her sides in confusion.
He reversed and sped off. And through corner of his eyes could see a calculation being done beside him.
"Sir, aren't we going back to resort?" He had to come to predict the unpredictable.
"Mumbai." Would she guess? Would she know?
He donned his if-you-say-a-word-i-will-throw-you-out look and that silenced the FAQs.
He wondered what she thought of him. Had noticed how she spewed anything and everything but never truly expressed her opinions. About him.
He was sure some dadaji ke nuskhe were already attributed to him. Or maybe she didn't have much time to think as all of her is so busy stalling him.
Somehow the revenge had dimmed in his mind, taken a back seat, while murdering this pretty lass topped the list. Was he so flexible as to bend his motives so easily? Or was he not trying with more force and power, liking the so called obnoxious obtrusion provided by the Himachal beauty.
"Sir! You were leaving for Mumbai without me?! I get that. But you came back. Why?!" Cant this girl say one word without doing some sort of martial art with those ever moving hands. Stupid Radhika. Asks him why he came back.
"Batayiye na Sir." Keep calm and drive carefully. Do not look sideways.
"Siiir!" No more.
The click of hand brake made her jump but the next moment she felt herself being tugged by strong hands.
He lowered his head and his nose rested below her eyes as his lips descended upon hers. Oh! How right he was about their deliciousness. Chashni. True. Exquisite.
Her upper lips being thoroughly tasted, he moved towards her lower ones, smirking all the way that she didn't slap him this time. As his hands brought her closer, her little arms moved on their own accord around his neck. One more peck and he moved back, admiring the rainbow of emotions circling her face.
"Ask me one more question Radhika and you have already seen how I answer." He said aesthetically pointing towards her plump lips.
He knew a long waging war was coming his way. That anytime she would spring out of her seat and sprawl punches all over him. Her trance would end soon. Till then he enjoyed the quietness. An unpleasant happiness she gave him. Unpleasant. Yet soothing. She was a bliss. His Infernal Bliss.
