===CHAPTER 2===
Radhika woke up by the constant banging on the door of her room. She got up on the bed and it took her sometime to figure out where she was and what was happening. When she came to senses, she got up slowly; wrapping her nightgown properly. She went up to the door and opened it to find Saral standing in front of her.
Sa: Good morning darling.
Ra:( in a cold voice) Good morning.
Sa: I must say that this nightgown on you is just...(leaned over and tried to kiss her)
Ra:( moving away instantly) I am gonna serve your breakfast. Come to the dining table.
Saying she immediately left from there and Saral stood there with a nasty smile on his face.
Radhika served the breakfast and then went to Saral's room only to find a total mess. She wasn't surprised at all as it was usual. She was cleaning up the room when suddenly her eyes fell on something and she picked it up. A tissue paper was somehow stuck with Saral's clothes and there was a logo of a
famous five star hotel on it. Radhika nodded her head in disappointment
Ra: God knows whose life he has ruined now!
She closed her eyes in disgust and then resumed her work. When Saral left for office, Radhika decided to visit the nearby grocery store to buy some daily necessaries. She was moving around the store when a girl of about her age suddenly bumped into her.
G: Oh my God I am really sorry I didn't...(shocked) you...you are Radhika right?
Ra:(surprised) Yeah but how do you know me? How do you know my name? Who are you?
G: Hi, I am Samaira. And how I know you...(smiled sadly) well, if you don't mind can we talk over coffee?
Ra:(hesitated a bit) Um..ah..ya sure.
Sam:(smiled) Let's go.
They went to a nearby cafeteria and ordered for themselves. When the coffee was served Samaira turned towards Radhika.
Sam: I know you are feeling really weird. Actually my situation is same.(gave a sigh) You asked how I know you right? Well, I know you through your husband Mr. Saral Joshi. I know that also comes as a shock... I don't know what to say and I shouldn't ask this but...was it a love marriage? I mean if you don't mind...
Ra: Not at all. No,it was an arranged marriage. Actually Saral's dad is my father's friend so..
Sam: So you just married him? I mean without actually knowing about him.
Ra: What do you mean?
Sam: Radhika you seem to be a very nice girl. And that.. that Saral... Radhika,he is a disgusting person..you can't even think how much disgusting he is...
Ra: I know that Saral is truly not a nice guy but how do you know that?
Sam:(smiled sarcastically) Well if you really know then I don't have a problem to say that I am one of the thousands of girlfriends of your husband. Actually I was huh!
Ra:( stayed silent for a moment) He...he was with you...
Sam: I loved him madly. I thought that I had found my love. The way he treated me it seemed like I got my prince charming huh!(started crying) How would I know that he had so many girls like me...
Ra:(holding Samaira's hand) Samaira,I am really very sorry for you. Please get a grip on yourself.
Sam:(still crying profusely) You know what he did-he used me and then he just threw me out of his life.(gave a pause) Why the hell did you marry him? Why did you ruin your life? He might have made your life hell by now. How do you tolerate him?
Ra:(smiled sadly) My life has always been like this and if I come to Saral, then I have always known that men are just like this..when my own father...you know what, my father hates me,only because I am a girl and not a male child. He always wanted a son. And I hate him too.Girls are forbidden to be born in our family..( wiped away tears) So you see I don't expect anything good from my life.
Samaira held her hands and consoled her,
Ra: It really gave me immense peace talking to you. Thank you..Thanks a lot. I'll need to go now but I'll surely meet you again.
Samaira nodded and then exchanging their contact numbers, both bade each other goodbye and headed to their respective cars.
Arjun was stuck in the traffic jam and he was constantly checking the time as it had been really long and he was getting irritated. He looked outside and suddenly his eyes fell on the person who was sitting in the car right next to his. When coincidentally that person's gaze also met him; Arjun's heart skipped a bit as there was something in those eyes which froze him. Suddenly the jam got cleared and he came to his senses by the horn of the cars behind him. Arjun started his car and when he was moving away he tried to look back towards that car but couldn't as he was driving. He reached home and then got freshened up but those beautiful eyes were still flashing in his thoughts and trying to get free from it; he got himself busy in his laptop.
