Arjun Mehra- In My eyes

Arjun Mehra, the Mysterious man of Manmarziyan.Some people liking him, sympathize with him, others simply hating him.I am also posting my views about Arjun's character, as I am following this character with interest.An analysis of Arjun Mehra's character with limited resource.Its my Point Of view, If someone disagrees with any point, plzz freely express it.

Arjun spent his childhood in an orphan home.He started his journey from Zero.But still he achieved.He is now successful.I can confidently say that he did it without any backing & pushing.He is a talented & Intelligent man.But did he ever celebrate his success??? I don't think so.He achieved, But not for leading a happy life, but for revenge.Result, He don't value it.He don't love himself.He can destroy himself in the process of destroying others.Its a trait of a criminal.

Arjun can understand people's mind brillaintly.He play mind games with his dushmans.He can predict Sam, neil, Samrat, Piyali's behaviour.Arjun's every move is pre-planned.But did he ever try to understand the feeling in Sam's heart??? No, Never.Because Arjun stopped listening his heart 15 years ago.He only use his mind to play with people's emotion.His mind is full of revenge.He is devoid of any guilt feeling.Dimag kabhi galti ka ehsaas nahin karata hai, dil karata hai.He not even expected the rejection.He made super impression on Sam using his charm & intellgence, But Trust??? How could he gain it??? It comes from heart & also he don't trust anyone.

Now, comes respect.He don't respect his uncle who is supporting him from childhood, His uncle cares for him, constantly warning him.But Arjun is constantly saying him Mind ur own business kaka.& most importantly Kya uske nazar main aapne liye koi respect hai??? No, so, how could he respect others???

& also, Arjun is a pessimist.Arjun feels only he is right, baaki whole world is wrong.But he is not doing any self analysis.Because he thinks he is the victim.He himself said that he did Ph.d in dard.But still he is giving dard to everybody.Sadist.Bachpan main mili dard kisiko bohut accha insaan bana deta hai, to kisiko criminal.But Arjun chose wrong path.He never thought about his life incident in a practical way.He is still carrying the thought of his childhood, I will revenge on Samrat Khanna.

Why he is so much into revenge?? Because he knew he is on wrong path.He can never fight for his rights.Because he don't have any.

He is the villain, He is the bad man.How one can defend him because he is wrong.But still I find his character most interesting.He is in darkness.MMZ is a story about friends.It also a story about Arjun Mehra.His self-discovery.Life will teach him the lesson & also will give him chance.Lets see if he able to use it or not.

P.S- Aham U are awesome as Arjun.

The only one whose Eyes or Mind Arjun cant read is Radhika's ... And that's where sparks fly !!! ;)

Excellently drawn character sketch.
In one word Arjun is a planner. It is biggest strength as well as greatest weakness.
Also he himself is so stiff, straight and precise that he is unable to understand vibrancy. He cannot comprehend the friendship Radhika and Sam share. Neil and Sam were as usual one sided love story which he successfully operated but he didn't count the variable called Radhika into equation and this has messed up his plans.
Manmarziyaan a story of friendship is incomplete without Arjun. He is the coldness, the pain, the angst, the anger and somehow the central part of this story. He is the darkness to Manmarziyaan's light. The balancing Factor without which Sam-Neil-Radhika's story would be nothing different.

Excellent analysis. Bt he never could read Sam fully. Her rejection came as a shock 2 him. I remember his dialogue "Jo dil todta hai vahi dil jodta hai" Both Sam and Arjun r broken. Oly they both cn stich their broken hearts to one..

I like your analysis, it is a story about his own self discovery because he doesn't care about himself, his self destructive and hurts himself constantly, but he doesn't know how to be happy anymore cause pain, hate and revenge is all his ever known so he just accepts it, his happiness or anything like that. he is like a shell and doesn't realize that revenge will not do nothing he will still feel hollow but he is consumed by it. your right trust comes from the heart and that's something he put in a locked box long ago. he knows how to deal with everyone but radhika who he underestimated in the first place and she pulled the rug from underneath him and shook him up.

I see him as a anti hero of the show and his growth as well as radz and sam and neils , their friendships and relationships etc.

it will be interesting to watch. when he actually starts to live and move past what happened to nandini

Yes, Arjun failed to understand Radhika.How could he interpret the friendship between SaRa???
He never experienced such kind of relationship in his life.

I am keenly following him from the beginning.
I completely agree with U.He failed to understand the vibrancy.
MMZ incomplete without Arjun.He is in darkness & it is Arjun's journey towards life.

^ yeah like radz said in yesterdays ep, you if actually cared you wouldnt be here and instead would be with sam. something along those lines.

He never try to understand Sam's heart.
But despite all bad characteristics of Arjun, I cant say that his relationship with Sam is completely fake.
Her rejection came as a shock to him.But He is not heart-broken.
Its his over-confidence that I knew Sam fully is shattered into pieces.
He re-acted, but did he looked in Sam's eyes??? Can He try to understand her pain???
No, how could he??? because he is not in himself.

The main problem of Arjun is he never opened up.He never shared anything.
I doubt usne aaj tak shayad koi dost bhi banayi hai.
He is the Anti-Hero now.But I am hopeful.
