I kind of want them to remain friends as well, they'd be like Ranbir and Kalki from YJHD and I adored their friendship. I'd love it if Sam and Neil remained friends.

Exactly, it's beautiful. I hope they keep it platonic if Sam and Arjun are to be paired and not have Neil develop feelings for Sam.
