Hey all! Here are the August 20 updates for both India and the US/Canada.
INDIA
Recap:
Chetaniya thinks the ghost of Aditi is really Rhiddhima. Rhiddhima later tells this to Padmini and suspects Chetaniya of cheating
Indrajeet shows Shardaji the model of the orphanage he is in charge of building. Anu comes to see and accidentally breaks the model. Indrajeet takes that chance to flirt with her.
Padmini's brother comes to visit. Lacchi tells Rhiddhima that he is the only heir to the fortune and is looking for a wife. Rhiddhima wants to marry him.
The truth is that Padmini has always lied about being rich. She finds that her family really needs money, so she decides to steal cash from the tijori. Later that night she steals and as she is walking back to her room, she stumbles drops everything. Anu hears and walks down to see what is going on. Padmini hides and is almost discovered by Anu.
Padmini is not discovered by Anu and she takes the money and jewelry to her room. That morning, Anu tells Chetaniya that she is suspicious that someone is stealing out of the tijori. Chetaniya tries to ward off her worry by telling her that no one could steal from their own house. The phone rings and when Anu picks up, they find that it is a blank call.
Padmini is giving the jewelry and the money she stole to her brother, Rajvir, when Indrajeet walks in. She drops a piece of the jewelry and Rajvir leads him away to talk to him. Trouble is avoided when she picks it up. They walk off to have breakfast.
The scene cuts back to the Kapoor household where Maya and Nani are having tea with a guest, Mrs. Khanna. When Maya asks the true business of Mrs. Khanna, she is surprised to find that she came to ask that her only daughter marry Veer. She also drops a line about the business empire of her husband going to Veer. Maya accepts the relationship.
Shardaji is reading as Indrajeet walks in. He has two samples of marble that he wants to use for the orphanage. He tells Shardaji which one he likes, but mentions that it is way more expensive than the other one. Shardaji tells him that she will give him the money because she wants only the best material for the orphanage.
The scene shifts to Indrajeet giving some lady a diamond necklace. She tells him that she wants a house and a car too. He tells her not to worry, that he has an unending supply of money, his father's dreams.
The accountant calls Shardaji and tells her that he has not been able to contact Indrajeet all day. She tells him to send the money to the Orphanage site, but then decides to go see the orphanage herself with Anupama. Padmini decides to go to and Shardaji is very pleased.
They are in the car when Padmini's phone rings. It is Indrajeet wanting to know where they are. Padmini tells him that they are on the way to the orphanage. He tells her that they can't go there or he will be in a lot of trouble. He tells Padmini to stop them in any way she possibly can. She fakes having a really bad stomach ache and tells Shardaji that she wants to go home. Shardaji tells her that they are too far from home and they should go to the orphanage. There they may be able to get some help. Her phone rings and she tells Indrajeet that they are going to the Orphanage and the episode ends on his surprised face.

Shardaji gives the keys to the tijori to Anu. Padmini gets really mad and locks herself in her room, refusing to talk to Anu. Anu comes in to see if Padmini is okay and gets yelled at for 'stealing her right'
Shardaji also gives Chetaniya his fathers office, invoking jealousy in Indrajeet.
Vikram tells Maya that the large payment he was waiting for won't arrive. The company that was supposed to pay them went bankrupt. He tells her that he doesn't know what is happening to their luck.
Anu tries to tell Shardaji to take the keys back, but Shardaji tells her that she is happily giving the keys to Anu. She should not let anyone convince her otherwise.
Indrajeet comes in and finds out that Shardaji has given the keys to Anu. He gets upset and is about to argue with Shardaji when Padmini stops him and tells him that she will get the keys back herself.
Anu is in her room thinking about what Chetaniya told her about his family and what the family is really like (ie. Chetaniya told her that Padmini would be a good friend but she is being mean to her; Chetaniya told her that Indrajeet would be a good brother, but he is hitting on her). Chetaniya comes in, but she doesn't want to tell him what Padmini said because it would hurt his feelings. She tries to convince him to tell Shardaji to take back the keys, but he tells her that it would hurt her if she mentioned taking back the keys again.
The next morning, the scene shifts to Anupama praying and putting new flowers on Chetaniya's dad's picture. She then is arranging flowers in the living room when Indrajeet sees her. He walks down and without her noticing puts his arms around her. He flirts and then she escapes his grasp. He apologizes and says that he thought she was Padmini because of the sound her keys made. She runs upstairs just as Padmini is coming down. Padmini walks down and Indrajeet says good morning and hugs her just like nothing happened before.
Anupama runs upstairs and locks the door to her room. Chetaniya puts his arms around her and she jumps. He asks her why she is scared, as nobody hugs her like she does. She does not tell him about what Indrajeet did, but he shows her the pictures he had framed the other day. One was of Shardaji, Chetaniya and Indrajeet. The other was her wedding picture. He says he will put them on his desk.
As Anu is walking downstairs, Padmini sees her and apologizes what she said before. Anu forgives her and then Shardaji sees Anu and tells her that they are holding a bhujan (hope I got that right, sorry if I don't. Not familiar with Hindu culture.) She tells Anu that she wants her to be in charge of it. Padmini offers to help.
The scene cuts back to Maya and Nani sitting with the jeweler. They like a necklace and want to buy it. Vikram comes in and Maya goes to show him the new necklace. Vikram tells Maya that they can't afford it at the moment, so she tells the jeweler that Vikram didn't like it. Nani asks Maya if their financial condition is so bad that they can't afford a necklace. Maya says that she is worried.
Anu runs into Chetaniya downstairs. He holds her hand and she asks why he hasn't gone to work yet and to let go of her hand or someone will see. He tells her that he is holding his wife's hand not someone else's. It's a cute romantic moment until Anu sees Indrajeet looking at the two of them. Chetaniya lets go and sees Indrajeet walk by. He follows him out.
Anu, Padmini, Lacchi and another servant spend all day in the kitchen preparing the food for the bhujan. The Brahmin come and they pray and begin to eat. But then the Pandit stops everyone. He found an onion skin in his food. The episode ends there.
