Chiku and Shaurya tease Diya and her fiancee. Chiku invites Diya to the party that is being organized at Shaurya's home. At Diya's home, her brother scolds her and tells what their neighbours talk about her. Diya explains to her brother that she would not be going to the party alone and Karan would be going along with her. At the party, Chiku questions Shaurya as to what kind of girl would he prefer to be his wife. He puts a number of options before Shaurya, who rejects without a second thought. But when Chiku puts Diya's name in his list, Shaurya does not speak a word.

When Diya finds Ishaani insulting Urmi, she stops her and asks as to why is she talking to her mother without manners. Ishaani questions Diya as to who is she to interfere in her life and her family matters. Daamini too insults Diya by asking her to mind her own business. Meanwhile, Karan calls Shaurya up and requests him to allow Diya take a leave for today. He adds on that today, the date for their wedding would be finalized. Later, Ishaani hears her mother talking about wedding and saying that Ishaani should settle down and be independent before getting married. Hearing this, Ishaani confronts her mother and tells that she wants to get married.
