Zee TV's Doli Armaanon Ki will go through a transition that will take the story line ahead post a generation leap.

However, the pre-leap story will have a dramatic climax wherein few important characters will breathe their last.

As we know, Neha Marda, the present Urmi will not be seen post leap. Mansi Salve will step into the shoes of the character after the time jump. Vibhav Roy will exit with his character Ishaan dying a heroic death.

Now, we hear that Mohit Malik who has chosen the dance reality Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa over Doli Armaanon Ki will also shoot for his last few sequences. His character of Samrat will go through an emotional phase, and will transform himself into the good-hearted man before he will commit suicide.

Yes, the mighty Samrat will be so guilt-stricken that he will commit suicide before the leap.

A reliable source confirmed, "Samrat will kidnap Urmi and will try to kill her, when he will himself get caught in the trap. When Samrat will be in a spot of trouble, good friend Ishaan will save him, but will breathe his last in the process. After losing his friend, Samrat will go through a phase of transformation and will plead for forgiveness before Urmi and everyone in the family. He will also request Urmi to punish him; but Urmi will not punish him as Ishaan wanted to bring him on the right path. A very upset Samrat will then recollect all his evil doings, and in a state of guilt will walk into the waters in the beach."

With this, Mohit Malik's role will be ending.

Not satisfied with Samrat's end. In all honesty, it should have been at the hands of Urmi. He had tormented her for so long.

iah nothing about the show makes sense! it's about Urmi but became abut Samrat - all about Samrat. we hardly saw Ishaan after a while.
the storyline became very strange. next we hear of a leap done solely to get Mohit to play a 28yr old man.
oookay so Neha cals it quits, closely followed by Vibhav. all perfectly understandable. then Mohir decides he'd rather do Jhalak and so walks.
you'd think SOMETHING would click in producers minds. they've just lost their 3 main leads in a span of two weeks. scrap a totally unneccesary leap and end the show.

Priority was always given to Mohit because of all the girls fan base. Even with a leap he was the lead and story has always revolved around him. Urmi and Ishaan quit and then Samrat quits. I don't think the producers were expecting Mohit to quit after giving him so much importance. As a result the actress playing Taani has also quit. The storyline was always focused on Mohit. So now to continue they have to change the storyline wihich means they have to come up with something fast.
Now with a new Urmi and a new Shaurya they plan to continue.

But the beach.. Seriously? Ther are tons of ways to die..the beach is the most un-dramatic.

ooh, Samrat will walk into the waters and die ...what a peaceful ending...

I would say this is the most foolish way to show samrat committing suicide. Is there any meaning to it. He played with so many life's and with Ishaan death has changed this mans head? How come out of the blue ?

So much plotting he did to kill and I spite of so much bhashan he did repent he comit suicide with someone's death?

Charecters such as samrat will never change they can kill many for their own good and live life without repentance. They should not show samrat commit suicide but put him away for some time and again will come back to take his so called revenge from Urmi.
