finally some good news:
here is the article i found:
---------------------

Vibhav Roy replaces Siddharth Arora as Ishaan in Zee TV's Doli Armaanon Ki

It's time for some exclusive news!!

Vibhav Roy has struck gold' even before his ongoing show Gustakh Dil on Life OK draws to an end. The young and handsome lad has now bagged the role of Ishaan in Zee TV's Doli Armaanon Ki (Spellbound Productions).

Yes, Ishaan, the close friend of Samrat (Mohit Malik) will soon stage a comeback. As viewers would know, Siddharth Arora had earlier played the role. However, with Siddharth quitting Doli for Singhasan Battisi, the channel has now roped in Vibhav for the role.

A reliable source states, "Vibhav has been zeroed in for the role of Ishaan. The character will be back when Urmi's (Neha Marda) sister, Anu (Mehendi Jain) would track the photo of Ishaan on a social networking site along with a group of her friends. She will then find out his number, and will have a phone conversation with Ishaan. She will try to get him back so that he can resurrect Urmi's life by talking to Samrat."

We hear that Vibhav will begin shoot from tomorrow. We tried to contact him, but could not get through his number.

Producer Pearl Grey confirmed the development..

How will Ishaan make an impact in Urmi's life now?

Get ready for this new spice' in the story line..

I hope Not!

He is primary the reason Urmi got stuck with Samrat and of course after ruining her life he ditched her too. If he had been honest with her from the beginning she would have never married him and have to suffer such trauma throughout her life. And all throughout he was out living his life peacefully. He was a bigger coward then Samrat. Last thing Ishaan deserves is any kind of love from Urmi.

If they ever go the love route with Urmi. I hope she gets a new male lead, who puts her on a pedestal because every women deserves that kind of love.

thats so true, of course Urmi should punch Ishaan in the face, and beat him up and give him the silent treatment, but i think Ishaan will turn things around for Urmi, she will have someone standing up for her finally apart from Sushmaji and Tiwariji!

Ishaan coming back was expected. However Urmi and Ishaan romance is unacceptable.

Unacceptable for the following reasons:

DAK - highlights domestic violence - a sad brutal reality of society. Urmi's character after many moons has discovered the courage to fight back and separate herself from the monster she married. Right now we are watching Urmi's journey - from being an obedient, timid, docile housewife to a self-respecting, brave woman - standing up to societies hypocrisies and attempting to make a life for herself. This is the crux of the show - Urmi's coming of age - acknowledging that domestic violence in all forms - emotional, verbal and physical is unacceptable and after playing the part of an obedient wife when she could take no more she is trying to break free. We need to see this - we need to see Urmi standing up for herself (which she is now) and making her own path - not living life by what society expects of her for a change.
There are countless women who face the same situation Urmi faces/faced and for various reasons/pressures will stay in an abusive/unhealthy situation. Some feel they have no other option, some are pressured into doing so or some are too far into the cycle where they rationalize to themselves somehow that they did something to deserve this treatment - what ever the reason this show is highlighting how this behavior is unacceptable and a stand must be taken. This gives hope and courage to such women or at the very least shows them that this is wrong for them to accept this treatment.

In such a circumstance if we show Urmi - getting a new male lead and him romancing her and helping her through this fiasco - while that is nice and for the sake of TRPs that might happen - i don't think that is fair - then that sends out the message a) women always need a male presence
b) Urmi was able to get out of this Samrat fiasco because of Ishaan/romantic male lead c) to get out of such a mess a woman needs a man.

Now coming to the point of Ishaan specifically - Urmi really shouldn't entertain Ishaan's friendliness - Ishaan is part of the reason Urmi got into this mess - Ishaan knew about Samrat's nature and even when Urmi asked him she flat out lied and shielded his friend - strike one
Ishaan is Samrat's friend - i don't care how much Ishaan and Samrat hate each other now - Urmi needs to stay as far away as possible - how could she even think about trusting him - Ishaan broke her trust once - not to mention that if I were in her shoes - every time i see Ishaan i'd think of Samrat - its really hard to separate the 2.

Ideally Urmi needs to first become financially stable - it looks like she's headed down the path of becoming a baker - next she needs to divorce Samrat and get custody of Shaurya - that will be an ugly battle as we know Samrat is going to use his money and power to win.
Once all that is done her best bet is to move to a different city and start afresh.

I think Eshaan will want to turn Urmi's life around and help her get justice because he is the one who put her in that position in the first place by hiding all of Samraats bad doings. He will be doing this to makeup to Urmi for hiding the truth and during that time they may fall in love.

Great post. Your points were spot on, I couldn't have said it any better.

As for this Ishaan character and Urmi getting together, I say a big fat nooo.
I don't want Urmi to get together with anybody, whether past or present who has/had any kind of association and connection with Samrat. I want them to show Urmi making it on her own without necessarily having a man by her side.

I don't mind him knocking some sense into that monster, but of course I'd like to see Urmi be INDEPENDANT first!!
Then their love story should start afterwards.
Hey tfs :)
