What good is the house if you are handicapped or dead? What Urmi needed to do most is to make sure her husband moves out of their house and moves into his sasural (prison) for good. Then only she can get her claim on his house or money if needed.

I believe that a woman should not be subjected to any kind of abuse. She should leave that awful house, if she is entitled to property or money, take the money, get her own home and live her life according to her own rules. That house has so many bad memories she shouldn't want to stay there. And her parents would have to accept her decision and stop interfering. Even if Samrat tries to hold on to her, the depth of the emotional pain he has caused her over the years may not allow her to accept him. Her spirit has been broken and she may pretend to forgive him but trust me she will never ever forget what he's done to her. And that is why she should move on. Only my opinion.
