Sorry Masooma - missed that episode. However I don't think that there should be another part to that phrase.

The idiom "apni khichdi alag pakana" - means "to follow a path that is different from the rest of the crowd".

i remember tau ji saying something like 'sab ka man bhaye'... something like that.. n then he said apni khichdi..
