You know guys? We must make a pact and stop watching the serial and just rely on the written updates for now.

This will affect the TRPs and hopefully the producers will realize that their show is crappy and do something about it. Or, they will continue to do what they have been doing so far and have a speedy demise of the show.

Either way, we win because we definitely do not want to watch this crap. Every male character in this serial is a major problem. Some are way too dumb to react (Sam's dad, Urmi's dad, Sam's brother) and others take a marriage as a joke (Rat, his BIL). And then there are people like Gaurav who react but do not stick to it. This only creates more SamRats in our society and as we see some of the posters have this as their realities. No one deserves kind of life.

The show is not crappy, it's infact well made and showen with good direction. It is showcasing the reality of many households. And will show how a women can give back when she takes the stronger stand and will get her desires and happiness back in their life's. It's a good show .

why do we get upset when a show tries to potray the realities of life instead of showing us fairy tales. We live in a society where there are many samrats living in our midst. We need to have woemn who are strong enough to stand up to such injustices. I am surprised that the show is not more popular.

So true . Well said. In every household there is some part of rat inside. And this show is doing awesome actually. If you compare to the hopeless shows like madhubala, Uttaran any many more it's much much better.

You may be right in boycotting the show but. then there is a tiny spark in my mind that the CV's are pushing all the limits of abusive behaviour before they show that their heroine is going to be different and will be strong and show courage to stand up to the RAT.

I ask myself everyday WHY do I watch this and it is truly my hope that some CV's have the guts to show a progressive and "Hatke" solution that will help women who are trapped in these kind of situations that will have the courage to rise against it from their own hell.

A positive message from a show like this will surely open many eyes.

But I do understand the frustration we all feel when it moves along so slowly. But in real life this kind of abuse is subtle and insidious and is done over a long period of time.

Honestly I don't even know if I can wait too long, before I say "Quit".

Sorry but just because these are realities of life does not mean they need to be glorified constantly. Like rape is a reality of life too, does not mean that it needs to be glorified on TV. Just how much self respect should a person (Urmi) lose before she will be shown to rebel? Will it even matter at that point? Are the real lives SamRats going to learn that its ok to disrespect your wife because once she is pregnant, she is useless to the world and stuck being the family doormat? Are the parents going to learn that they must send their daughter back to a beast to save their nose in the society, even if she will have to live like a slave? Will the young generation learn that its ok to disrespect your father and older brother and call them names? Anyway, to each its own

Talking about showing realistic, one big reality is that people like this never change so if they ever show Samrat change, that would be a fairytale and not realistic

Unless Samrat is jolted into casting aside his rattiness by some major event which changes him, those things do happen even in real life. Loving this show.
