Antara pouted angrily from raghu as he sat at her side on the bed. "Oye ab kya huya?!!" raghu asked in confusion. "kuch naii.. main sone jaa raahi hoon..." antara said and stood up to go back to couch. "Eee yedi... chal ab aur nautanki mat kar... kya hain naa raat ko agar fir se chuho ne hamla kiya naa too apun baar baar nahin uthega chuhe ke fauj ko bhagane..." raghu said with a playful voice. "ohh hello mr!!..." antara snapped back to him. "mujhe kuch bata ne se pahele yee bhi yaad rakho koo jab ratt ko itne bare bare cockroaches aa kar tumhare upar attck karengey tab mujhe mat bulana fir se..." she said with a frown. Both of them looked towards each other silently for a while and then burst into laughter. The sound of their childish, chirpy and innocent laugh roamed at each and every corner of the room. "miss kaul... ttt... tuuu chuhe se... darti hain..." raghu said in between his huge laughter holding her stomach. "meri too chorro... raghunath naik... pura Mumbai sahar jiske naam se darta hain... woo ek cockroach se darta hain!!! ohh god!! I can't believe this..." she said laughing widely. "arey... Tune joo chillaya naa... apun sau taka bazi maar sakta hain kii woo chikh sun ke adhe chuhe heart aattack se bhagwan ko pyaare ho gaye honggey..." he said with a naughty smile. "Achaa!!... too tum too kuch kam nahin hoo... cockroach dekh ke tum aise dance kar rahe the... Ki coackroach bhi dar gaye hongey.." antara said giggling. As the outburst of laugh was toned down a bit they both looked towards each other with a pleasant adorable smile. They silently admired each other with their eyes.

"Kitni pyari lagti hain tu haste huye miss kaul... humesha aise hich smile dete rahena!! Teri iss smile koo dekh ne ke liye apun kuch bhi karega..." raghu thought looking at antara's mesmerized sunshine smile with intense eyes.

"Haste huye kitna alag lagta hain raghu... bilkul ek chote bacche jaissa..." antara said in mind looking towards raghu's innocent grin.

The sound of a late night truck's horn which moved on the road at the side of hotel, at last broke their trance. "Goodnight!!..." antara said grabbing the pillow in her hand greeting raghu with a pleasant smile. she was moving towards the couch when suddenly raghu called her from behind, "miss kaul!!..." antara twitched her neck towards raghu, "haan bolo..." she asked. "Woo miss kaul tuu idhar hich so jaa naa... dekh wo sofe pe jagah bhi kam hain... thik se hath pair failake soo bhi nahin sakti... aur raat ko thand bhi paregi yaar... idhar eek hi kambal (blanket) hain... tuu udhar bina kambal kee puri raat thand mein kaise rahegi... Shardi lag jayegi yaar... Aa jaa naa idhar..." he asked expectantly. "nahin... main adjust kar lungi... aur tum fikar mat karo... tum bhool rahe hook o main bhi Kashmir ki rahene wali hoon... thand ki adat hain mujhe.." antara smiled to him. "arey woo too tab tha naa jab tuu idhar raheti thi... lekin abtoo itne din Mumbai mein raheti hain... abtoo adat chala gaya hoga... soo jaa naa idhar yaar.. tere bhale ke liye hi kahe raha hoon..." raaghu's concerned wyws almost begged her. he was really worried for her. Antara was still hesitant and stood there silently looking towards ground. "arey yaar... teri problem kya hain?!... apun se problem hain naa?!!" he asked directly. Antara felt a bit ashamed. She knew him for so long and she knew him that well that he was not cheap minded to do such things with her or taking advantage of her helpless state. He would never do that to her!! but still, she was a shy girl after all. She couldn't just... "oye yedi..." raghu broke her trance again, "bata naa.. mere se problem hain naa?!" he asked. "nahin raghu... tum jaisa soch rahe hoo waisa kuch bhi nahin hain... main too bas..." antara said looking towards the ground. "arey apun ko pata hain..." Raghu sighed with a mild smile, "apun gunda hain... woo kya kaheta hain... haan sarakchap gunda.. mere pe bharosa karna thora woo bole too...tough hain..." he chuckled looking away from him. she felt really bad!! His concern was genuine and she could felt that. she looked towards raghu's face. although he was smiling, there was a glint of sadness in his eyes. "miss kaul... ek kaam kar... tu idhar soo jaa... apun woo sofe pe chala jata hain.. thik hain!!..." raghu said and was about to jump up from the bed grabbing his pillow. "arey nahin... tum yahin pe soo jaoo..." Antara said quickly placing her pillow on the bed. "arey yaar dekh ab itni raat ko jyada bakhera mat kar... kahan naa apun couch pe jata hain..." raghu said with a slightly annoyed face. "bilkul nahin... main apne comfort ke liye kissi dusre koo takleef nahin de sakti..." antara said. "too ab tu bata kya karein..." raghu said making a face. "wooo..." antar said in hesitation, "tum bhi yahin bed pe so jaon... mujhe koi problem nahin hain... main adjust kar loongi..." she said those words without meeting his eyes. raghu looked towards her face with a shocked expression. Antara felt her chicks were flushing like hell and she was trying to hide that from him but he already noticed that and smirked secretly. Antara felt her heart was pounding. come on antara.. wwhat's the big deal?! You are just going to share a bed with him... nothing more okk... it feels like u are going for a battle... not to take a nap.." she ctried to convince herself but it didn't work. with a big sigh, she quickly moved under the blanket and closed her eyes. raghu was giving a lottery winning smile on his face and he banged on the pillow close enough to her. Antara felt his warmth and twitched her neck to his side of bed. He saw him lying so close to her. his eyes were closed and his forearm was placed on his temple. Observing his toned chest muscles under his tight grey vest and his biceps she gulped badly. She quickly moved back and cane out of blanket. Raghu felt her movement and looked towards her. He was slightly amused as he saw her going out of blanket's cover. "ee kya huya?!!" he asked slowly. "mujhe blanket nahin chahiyee... tum rakhloo..." she said with stumbled voice. she felt her heart was thudding badly under her cage. "arey le le.. thand lag jayegi..." Raghu said. "nahin... kahan naa nahin chahiye..." antara said gulping again. She heard raghu's irritated chuckle and at the next moment she feelt the heavy weight of bkanket falling on her. She became startled and looked back. she saw him lying there without any blanket, showing his back to her. She again felt bad for creating issues for nothing. He couldn't sleep whole night without blamket. "raghu!!." she called her slowly. He didn't respond or looked to her. "naraz hain kya?!!" antara thought in mind. "sorry!!..." she said with guilt. Still he didn't respond. With a heavy heart, antara moved forward and placed the blanket on him covering him properly. raghu just stood still in his position closing his eyes enjoying everything silently. Antara also slid inside the blnket remaining a fare distance between them. They lay their silent with pounding heart against each other cage caused by their closeness. Due to the tiredness of long journey and cockroach-mouse fight before some moment both of them dozed into sleep soon. As the night became darker the weather of himalay became chiller and the cold wind spread inside the room through the small space between the two wooden frames of window. Antara shivered a bit in her sleep though she was under the cover of blanket at that moment raghu tossed unconsciously in his sleep and slid on the bed. His hand slowly wrapped antara's delicate feature under his strong hands. Antara felt good by his warmth and she squeezed herself more under his warm body. in response raghu's hold became tighter around her closing the remaining gap between them and his lips almost brushed her earlobe. The chilly wind couldn't touch her anymore. She slept securely under his strong hold for the whole remaining night.
