So late at night, antara again heard that tune of mouth organ. A smile appeared on antara's face. Might be binod was again playing mouth organ. She was thinking to go outside and meet him. But later she dropped the idea. Binod felt uncomfortable while someone saw him playing MO. So she decided to enjoy the tune. Strange! The tune was not pleasant like before. Antara felt like so much pain was oozing from that tune. Like someone's bleeding heart's cry was coming through that sound. She didn't know why her eyes automatically got moistened after listening to that tune. With a heavy heart she finally dozed off.
Next day at evening, Near antara's office entrance,
Binod was standing at the entrance waiting for antara and talking to someone in phone.
Binod: Jee aap fikar mat kijiya... unhone aaj humein dinner pe bulaya hain.
Someone talked something from other side or phone.
Binod: aap fikar mat kijiye. Hum har tarah se koshis karengey ki woo cheez humein mil jayein.
Binod saw antara coming out and he quickly cut the phone. Antara smiled widely towards binod and Binod smiled back. "good evening!!" antara greeted.
Binod: same to you.
Antara: I hope you don't have to wait for long. It was so much work load at office.
Binod: it's ok. No problem. Even I reached here just some moments ago. Shall we proceed to your house?
Antara: off course.
Binod: Just one req antara, please don't tell your family that I am a anti terrorist officer and I saved your dad. We are secret agents and we have to keep our identity hidden for confidential work.
Antara(in assurance): don't worry binodd ji, I understand. I will take extreme care about that.
Binod(with a deep sigh): thank you antara.
Pakiya was watching over then from some distance. He picked up his phone. "bhai, woo pappu anti terrorist wala aa raha hain antara ke sath... Haan bas abhi abhi woo nikle yahan se.." pkiya informed and moved at a quick pace towards his bike.
At the basti,
Antara and binod was about to enter inside the basti while they both stopped. In front of them, there were standing pakiya, chotu and some other men from raghu's gang with hockey sticks and chains in their hands. All of them didn't look in good mode. Antara got startled looking at them. Binod and she looked towards each other with confused face. After some moment both of them decided to ignore and pass by them. They both headed forward and was about to pass by them when suddenly chotu caught binod's collar and pushed him forward. Antara's eyes widened. Binod somehow got on his hold and fixed his collar. "now what is this man?! kya badtamizi hain yee?" binod asked with a miffed voice. "abey angrez ki aulad. Abhi bdtamizi tune dekha hi kahan hain..." the deep voice roamed in their ears and both binod and antara got worried when they saw raghu coming out from the middle of the crowd and stood in front of them. the unreadable hard gaze was enough to shook all of them. binod again felt that his knees were shaking. Looking at his sweat droops on forehead raghu smirked. "abey dhakkan! Tujhe kya laga ki tu mooh uthayein chala ayega aur tere jaise das numberi ko apun basti mein ghusne dega.." raghu said with a mocked voice. Antara got angry seeing all that. "Raghu!! kya ho raha hain te sab?!" she said loudly. "EEE CHUP!!bilkul chup!" raghu kept his finger on his lips and looked at her with such a dangerous eyes which made her numb, "tu bich mein mat aa miss kaul!! samjhi?!" his ferocious voice shut her mouth and she lowered her gaze. raghu looked back to binod. "aur tu.. chal ab fatafat apna pol khol aur pet se sara baat nikal. Bata kaun hain tu!!" he asked snapping his fingers. "dekhiye... aap.." binod was trying to say something but raghu again stopped him. "EEE!!!... ab haklana bandh kar... dekh apna bheja sanka huya hain kaal se.. agar agle ek min pe tune nahin kahan na.. too aaj kashmiri pulav nahin khana parega. badle mein s**a tu khud binod keema ban jayega..." he warned him ferociously. A shiver ran down binod's spine looking at raghu. he tried to compose himself and thought to play a trick. "dekhiye aap thik nahin kar rahein hain.. aap agar aisa karengey to humein police mein inform karna parega.. taa ki woo ayein aur aapko arrest karein.." he managed to say somehow. "kya police!!" reaghu burst into laughter clapping his hands. "police bulayega?!!... too bula naa... tab too tera pole unke saamne hi khul jayega.. pata chal jayega ki tu sachmein koi woo anti terrorist officer hain ki nahin... Chal bula police ko!!" raghu said with so much confident and binod was totally blown off. He looked hear and there and rubbed the sweat from his forehead. "munna fas gaya hain tu... Ab bata jaldi se sab kuch... warna.." he said. Still binod was silent. "bhai lathoo ka bhoot hain.. baton se nahin maan ne wala..." pakiya said from side. "too dekh kya raha hain suru hoo jaa..." Raghu said. all of them were about to jump on binod when suddenly antara came between them and they got startled. Her face was hard and eyes were spitting fire. Raghu stood there startled. "BAS!!! BANDH KARO YE TAMASHA!!" she screamed loudly. raghu continued to look at her angry face all stunned while binod almost hid himself behind antara. "koi hath nahin lagayega inhe! Aur agar lagana hain too sab se pahele mujhe chot pauchani hogi..." antara said and looked towards raghu with wide eyes. raghu's hard expression started to break. The eyes which were spitting fire just a moment ago suddenly showed so much pain. Looking at his hurt face antara suddenly felt a sharp pain in her hurt. Her angey face became worried all of a sudden. Suddenly raghu let out a painful laugh startling them and looked towards antara with so much hurt expression which almost broke her heart. "waah re waah miss kaul!! angel mill gaya too apne iss dost ko bhool gayi kyun?!! Sahi hain, abtoo tujhe meri zarurat naii... tujhe to ab har musibat se bachayega tera angel!! To apun ke jaise gunda mawali ka kya kaam... hain naa?!" his mocking words broke her hearts into several pieces. Unable to meet his gaze, antara looked down. Raghu laughed again looking at binod, "Akhien khol apna miss kaul aur dekh sacchayi ko. Tera angel tere piche chupa huya hain apun se bachne ke liye! Agar sach mein teri parwa hoti naa to sina taam ke tere saamne khara raheta tujhe har musibat se bacha ne ke liye!... s**a larki ke piche chupta hain!!" raghu said angrily and moved towards the garage followed by his gangs. Antara looked at raghu with guilt full eyes. "antara ji, leave him. we should go now." Binod said from her side. with a big sigh antara moved towards her house with binod keeping her eyes towards raghu's back going away from him. Raghu moved inside the garage like a storm and kicked on the thing at front without looking what was that. A shelf containing machine parts and oils spread on the floor. he punched on the garage wall so hardly that his feasted palm started to bleed. He screamed loudly like a hurt lion. And suddenly broke out hiding his shattered face on the wall. "woo nahin hain miss kaul... woo tera angel nahin hain..." he said in broken voice. "woo apun hi tha... par ab tujhe samjahon bhi too kaise?!" his slow voice stammered.
Antara introduced binod to each and every one. They gave an warm welcome to him. After the proper family introduction and chatting for a while, antara took binod to a quick visit of their room. "so this is your room antara! nice!! Your choice are really great!" binod praised. "thanks!!" antara said dryly. She somehow was feeling so low and raghu's hurt eyes were roaming in his mind. he wanted to tell her so many things through those gaze! There was something wrong! She was mistaking something really big. "antara!! whose room it was at the other side of corner?" he asked indicating towards the room. "that's my momma pappa's room. Come I will show you.." antara said. They both came at the entrance of room. "nice!!" binod complemented. "antara can I have a glass of water?!" he asked. "sure!! Wait here.." antara said and moved back to the first floor to bring water. As soon as antara went away binod moved fast and searched at each and every corner of room. He folded the bed shit and checked under that and also searched at the beneath. He checked all the drawers of the written desk, quickly. He moved each and every corner of the room madly for something and looking towards door frequently to see if someone was coming. At last he grabbed the key from side and started to search inside the closet. At that moment suddenly he heard some footstep and was about to close the door of closet but in hurry he got a hit on his hand. "ouch!!!" he winced in pain. Antara came with a glass of water and startled to c binod near the closet. "binod ji!!??" she asked. "wooo.. antara ji... actually I was searching for my watch.. it fell down and now I got it..." binod said quickly. Antara didn't know why she felt suspicious. She thought that why he was searching for his watch in the closet?! However she didn't say much and moved inside. "binod ji... aap ka pani.." antara handed over the glass to him and slowly closed the closet with thought full face. binod quickly gulped the water to wash away his worry. "mummy jii aap ko niche bula rahe hain.. khana ready hain!" antara said. "okk!!" binod said and quickly moved out of room. Antara looked at him with narrow eyes and after a long moment she followed him. she didn't want to say that but she was having doubts on binod's intentions.
Raghu was wrapping a bandage around the wound of his hand while he saw binod and antara coming out from the house. His eyes got stuck to them. While antara bid adieu binod with a smile fire resides into his heart and burned his whole corpse. He became mad and threw the first aid kits and bandages spreading them on the floor keeping his wound opened. Antara was about to go inside when her eyes fell on the garage and he saw raghu seating on his usual place on the bench. His eyes were away from her and his face was hardened. She saw the wound in his hand and gasped in anticipation. god!! What happened to him?!! her heart pained like hell and something sting inside her. she rushed to the other side of road to reach him. But before he could reach raghu kicked on the ground and left the place leaving a worried and guilty antara behind.
At daya naik's mansion.
Daya mai was seating on her precious couch and in her front there stood a man who was none other than but binod!!
Binod: sorry mam!! Maine bahut koshis ki par mujhe woo sabut nahin mila... sayad woo dr kaul apne sath le gaye..
Daya mai(angrilly): S**a budha!! Fir bazi maar gaya mujhse...
At that moment, machmach was passing by the room and he was startled to find binod there. raghu had already told him about binod's description so he easily detected him.
Daya mai: unn logon ko shak too nahin huya kii maine tumhe wahan bheja hain uss antara ke angel bana kar..
Binod: nahin mai!! Kisi ko shak nahin huya..
Everything cleared to macchmach like daylight. He didn't waited for a single moment and rushed to give the news.
At basti,
Raghu(startled): kya?!! Woo lucha binod daya mai ka admi hain?!
MM: han bhai apun sab apne kaano se sun ke ayyaa...
Raghu (angrily pacing on the garage): S**I himmat kaise huyi uss budhi ki... apun ko pahele hi samajh jana chahiye tha... zaroor satya ke maar ka badla lena chahti hain miss kaul se... arey satya ko too apun ne mara hain... mere se aake baat kar na... meri miss kaul ko kyun taang kar raha hain.
A sarcastic smile spread on MM face as he saw raghu's condition. He was so sure that what happened to his bhai.
Raghu: aur woo pappu binod!! S**a chorega nahin ussey... haddi tor dalunga uss nau sikiye kaa... himmat kaise huya uska jo mere miss kaul ke sath aisa kiya?! Mere miss kaul ke kareeb aa naa chahta hain jhooth mooth ka angel ban ke... uss bholi larki ki zazbaton ke sath khel raha hain... S**a!! ku**a... hath tor dunga!!! Hath kya... uska too tang bhi tor dena chahiye... tang nahin.. uske saee ke sare purze torke... uska kima bana ke... eee machmach tu has kyun raha hain?!
Raghu stopped abruptly as he heard MM's laugh.
MM(still laughing): kuch naii bhai!!
Raghu(confused): kuch naii matlab.. kuch too huya hain... apun itna serious batein kar raha hain aur tu daant dikha raha hain..aaj kaal kjab bhi dekhu mujhe dekh kar bas hasta raheta hain.. ee apun joker lagta hain tere ko
MM: insaan pyar mein bhikharoi bhi ban jata hain too joker kya cheez hain bhai?!!
Raghu felty a huge shock as MM said those words. What did he said?!! pyar mein...
Raghu(scratching his head): eee kya baat kar raha hain tu.. kaisa pyar kaun sa pyar?!.. apun nahin karta uss miss kaul se pyar...
MM(wide eyes): bhai apun ne kab zikar kiya ki tu uss yeri se pyar karta hain... aur tu khud be khud bol diya sab kuch... Gaya tu kaam se bhai. Full too gaya!!...
Raghu: ee apna mooh bandh rakh.. aisa kuch nahi hain.. samjha naa... woo sirf meri doest hain...
MM: bhai ab maan bhi jaon yaar... sab ko saaf saaf dikhayi de raha hain ki jab se woo binod ayya hain yeri ke life mein... tu jal bhoon ke koyla bana huya hain... ek bhi mauka mile too uss binod koo too patka dega... bhai tere sakal pe likha huya hain ki tuu chahne laga hain uss yeri ko..
Raghu: KYA!!! SAKAL PEIN LIKHA HAIN? kidhar?!!!(he quickly touched his face in action)
MM: bhai ab mazak mat kar.. dekh apun logon ko too kab se pata chal gaya hain ki tu uss yeri koo chahta hain.. dekh ab tuu bhi maan ja...
Raghu(still confused): aisa kaise ho sakta hain?!! apun uss yeri ko...
Raghu felt his heart was pounding so fast. Like he saw some lights through the darkness! As if he got the answer of his all question and every puzzle suddenly solved in a sec...
MM: Aur nahin to kya bhai?! Pakiya nee too apun ko pahele hi kahe diya tha... usi ne kahan ki jis din bhai nee first time uss larki ko dekha tha... unka mooh khulla ka khulla rahe gaya tha... hill nahin paa rahe the woo apne jagah se.. apun ko yaad dila naa para ki shetty bhai se bhirne ka hain...
Raghu scratched his head in a bit ashamed face a coy smile was playing on his face.
MM: bhai tu hi dekh... woo tujhse baat tak nahin karti thi pahele.. fir bhi tu har waqt uska khayal rakhta tha... kyun bhai?! Kya farak parta hain tujhe agar ussey koi chot pauchayein? Ussey koi chuyein too?! Bas ek larki hi too hain woo jo yahan basti mein rahene ayii hain.. par nahin bhai.. apun ne dekha... agar uss yeri ko zara saa bhi chot pauche too uss sey jyada takleef tujhe hota hain... uski akhon se asoon girta hain too tujhe dekh ke lagta hain ki tu puri duniya ko aag laga dega... aur jab se woo tujhe apna dost maan ne laga tab se tu itna mast aur happy happy wala kyun raheta hain..
Raghu was listening toi his each and every words silently and looking towards antara's house with intense eyes.
MM: bhaai, agar iss sey bhi yakeen nahin hota too yee bata... aaj tak satya bahut sari larkio ke piche line maat ta rahaa.. par jab woo antara ke picche para tab tujh se sahan nahin huya... tuu uss ke liye satya ke pure gang ke saamne akela khara ho gaya... bina apne life ke parwh kiye... aur ab jyada explanation nahi diya jata bhai...school ke exam paper mein bhi apun itna jyada explain nahin kiya jitna tujhe aaj kiya...
Raghu felt a huge wave hit him. he closed his eyes all of a sudden and saw antara's smiling face so clearly. A huge grin spread on his face. he opened his eyes and suddenly rushed towards MM. MM was startled and he gave a tight hug to him startling him even more. "eee bhai!!.. ye kya hain..." MM asked. raghu break the hug and his eyes were glowing with immense happiness. "machmach mere ko love ho gaya hain... mere ko miss kaul se pyar ho gaya hain..." he said loudly like a innocent child. "bhai congratulation!!" MM was so happy for him bhai. They both laughed heavily rolling on the bench. "eee pakiya.. chotu... chiku... suno sab ke sab... bhai ko pyar ho ge la hain!!!" MM screamed. All of them rushed in the garage and were startled to c their raghubhai like that. They didn't even remember when they last time saw him smiling so widely!! Raghu jumped on the empty thela of chaiwala and started to dance in tapori style. Not just him, but MM, chotu, pakiya all were dancing around the thela. They all caught there raghubhai in hand and throw them on air. Raghu was smiling widely stupidly, feeling his heart racing so fast in new developed feeling. He loved someone more than his life and she was none other than but miss kaul!! he got a reason to live in life, to live for her. the overwhelming feeling of first love fulfilled his lonely heart. After a huge moment when the outburst was toned down,
MM: bhai abb ja ke bool de naa yeri ko ki tu hi uska woo angel hain...
Raghu(looking ti antara's balcony): naii machmach.. abhi sahi taime nahin hain... pahele apun ko uss binod ka sach saam ne lana hoga... waisey bhi... (his eyes got more intense)... pyar too miss kaul ko iss gunde raghunath naik se hi karna paregaa... kissi angel se nahin... apun tab tak ussey kuch nahin batayega... jab tak woo mere se pyar naaa karein...
Looking at his determined eyes, MM widened his grin. The cold night bridge soothed them.
