Chapter 25

It was 10:30 by the time I had finished talking to my mom. I had told her all about Raghu. I had never kept any secret from her and this was a major thing in my life. I also told her about Payal and Ishaan's reception. She said that she and Dad wouldn't be able to come but Arjun was coming. I was getting ready for bed when I heard my phone ring. I picked it up and looked at the screen and saw that it was Raghu calling. "Raghu mujhe kyun phone kar raha hain?" I asked my self. I answered the call. "Hello?" I said. "Hi Miss Kaul," he replied. "Tum ne mujhe phone kyun kiya?" I asked. "Kyun? Main tujhe phone nahi kar sakta?" he asked. "Nahi, of course kar sakte ho, par jab tumara room mujhse do kamre door hain, toh phone karne ki kya zaroorat hain?" I asked. "Miss. Kaul, tu bhi na. Saare romance ka band baja deti hain," he said. I walked towards my window and said, "Acha ji. Toh aisi baat hain." "Haan, raat bhar phone baat karne ka maaza hi kuch aur hota hain," he said. "Kya baat karni hain tume?" I asked. "Kuch bhi," he said. "Par tujhse baat karne ka bahut mann kar raha hain." "Toh chalo yeh bato ki tume mujhe mein sabse acchi baat kya lagti hain?" I asked. "Sabse achi baat yeh ki tu sabse alag hain. Meri hain na, issi liye," he replied. The two of us spent the entire night talking to each other about every possible topic. I didn't even realize when I had fallen asleep.

I woke up the morning and looked at my clock. It was 7:30. I quickly got up and ran to Antara's room. I knocked on the door but there was no answer. The door was slightly open so I opened it and went inside. "Miss. Kaul," I said softly. I saw that she was lying on her bed with her phone between her ear and shoulder. Yedi, I thought. I went up to her and slightly shook her shoulder. "Miss Kaul, uth na," I said. She wasn't waking up. "Miss Kaul," I said a little louder. Still no reaction. "Antara," I said, almost yelling. "Haan, aag kahan hain?" she said, sitting up. "Koi aag nahi hain, par agar tum abhi tayaar nahi hui, toh tu late ho jaye gi," I said. She looked at the clock and said, "Oh no, Raghu hato, mujhe tayaar hona hain." I watched her run around, gathering all of her stuff. I went back to my room and took a quick shower and changed. When I came back to her room, she was almost ready. "Apna ID card mat bhulna," I said. "Haan, thank you," she said, as she grabbed the rest of her stuff. It was 8:30 by the time we got out of the house and headed towards the jeep. "Raghu, sirf aadha ghanta re gaya hain, mujhe phele din late nahi hona hain," she said, worried. "Don't worry, tum time par paunch jao gi," I said.

Raghu was right, we got there with 10 minutes to spare. "Thank you," I said. I reached down to pick up my bag and when I got up, I found Raghu looking at me. "Kya?" I asked. "Bas yahi soch raha hoon ki tu itni khoobsurat kaise hain?" he said. "Raghu, tum bhi na. Abhi mujhe jaana hain," I said and got off of the jeep. "Acha sun, main tujhe lene aaonga, phir hum reception ki planning karenge, theek hain?" he asked. "Haan, bye," I said. "Bye," he said. I walked into the hospital and got ready for my first day as an intern.

AN: Sorry guys for taking so long to update. I was a bit busy. Anyways, hope you guys all like this update. The next one might take some time because I have my exams coming up so gotta study. Also, if you would like a pm, please comment. 😊
