Chapter 7

"Arjun, kaha ho tum?" I said while walking into the mall. "Main yahan hoon," he said and came in front of her. "Toh aaj meri pyaari behen ko kya shopping karni hain?" he asked. "Mujhe ek nayi dress chaiye, sangeet ke liye... actually baki ki sab rasmo ke liye chayie. Tum meri madat karoge na?" I asked. "Aur koi option hain kya mere paas?" he said. "Hmmm... nahi" I replied.

The group split up, Riya, Raghu, Arjun & Antara went together and Piya, Payal, Ishaan and Ranveer went together. They agreed to meet in the food court in two hours.

Riya and I were looking at dresses when I saw one on the mannequin and pointed it out to Riya. It was a purple and pink lengha choli. "Riya, woh dekho. That would look perfect on you. Tum jao na, jakar try karo." I told her. "Ok, Antara," she said and walked away to try the dress.

I was playing on my phone when I heard my sister's excited voice. "Wow Riya! This looks perfect on you! Arjun look at her," she said. I turned around to see her and was blown away... she really did look beautiful. "Yeah, it looks nice," I said and turned away before I could do anything stupid.

"Thanks Antara, main yehi dress lungi. Ab hum tumare liye kuch dekhe?" Riya said. "Haan chalo," she replied. I was waiting to see what dress Antara would choose. I'm sure that anything she chose would look perfect on her, but I wanted to see her in something that I chose.

The two girls spent the next half an hour looking at dresses but couldn't find anything. I was wandering around as well when I saw the dress. It was a pink and silver lengha. Isme to woh bilkul ek pari jaise lage gi, I thought. "Riya, yeh dress kaisi hain?" I called. "Bhai... this dress, matlab, Antara, yahan aao," she called her and she came to see it. "Wow Riya... yeh kitni khoobsorat hain, yeh tume kahan se mili?" she asked. "Mujhe nahi, Bhai ko mili thi," she replied. "Woh, main bas aise hi dekh ra tha... aur mil gayi," I said. "Thank you," she said. "Antara, chalo. Dress ko try karo," Riya said and led her away.

I went into the changing room and tried on the dress. It was perfect. Just the kind of dress that I was looking for. It was as if he knew my taste from before. But how was that possible? We had just met two days ago, yet it felt like we knew each other from such a long time. "Antara, mujhe dekhna hain ki tum kaisi lag rahi ho, jaldi karo na..." Riya said. "Haan, aa rahi hoon," I said and quickly put the dupatta on and went out. "Kaisi hain?" I asked.

I was wrong. She looked even more beautiful than a fairy. She was just so beautiful. Her eyes met mine and I held her gaze. I had some weird flashback of a girl coming out in a lengha. My head started to hurt a little but I couldn't take my eyes away from her. I didn't leave her gaze until Arjun snapped his fingers in front of me and broke my trance. "Behen hai woh meri, zaara sambhal ke," he said. "Yeah," I said. "Antara, you look so pretty. Aisa lag raha hain ki yeh dress sirf tumare liye bani hain," Riya said. "Thanks, par abhi bauht shopping baki hain. Chale?" she said and went to go change. What was that flashback about? I had never been in that situation before so how could I remember that?

The girls spent the rest of the time looking for matching jewelry and dresses for the other functions. It was dinnertime when they finally reached home. Arjun had left for the Kaul house from the mall. Ranveer had dropped everyone off and left for his own house. The group finally got home and the girls collapsed on the couch. "Mom, I'm so tired... I swear agar shaadi mein itni saari shopping hoti hain na, toh main kabhi shaadi nahi karungi," Piya said to her mom. "Same here aunty, I don't think ki mujhse yeh saab phirse ho payega," Antara said. "Acha, jaise tum dono har dosre din shaadi ki shopping karti ho, right?" Priya said. "Aunty, relax, hum toh mazak kar rahe they," Antara said. "Mujhe bauht bhook lagi hain Aunty," Riya said. "Main abhi khana lagwati hoon, tab tak tum log fresh hoke aajao," Priya said and left for the kitchen. Everyone headed off to their rooms and relaxed for a bit before dinner.

I went to my room and took out the lengha. I was looking at it and remembering the eye lock that I had in the mall with Raghu. All of a sudden, I started seeing someone in my head. Some weird flashback. There was some guy going up to a girl. They were sharing an eye lock, just like the one that I had with Raghu. But how could I remember this? Who were these two people? The guy looked like Raghu... but I couldn't see the face. I could tell that the girl was me but I never remembered anything like this happening... My head started to hurt more than before and I snapped out of the weird flash back. What was happening to me?
